About Us
Pomelo places the best offshore talent with top brands, startups, and agencies across the globe. We enable hard-working and ambitious talent to work remotely from their home countries, while gaining exposure into how the world’s top companies operate.
About the Role
Our client is an DTC/e-commerce portfolio company that incubates multiple e-commerce brands, and this role is cross-functional across multiple DTC brands (including a health & wellness supplement brand, a luxury home brand, a premium cookware brand, and a beauty brand). We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Social Media to own the organic social media strategy and execution across our client's core channels (e.g., Instagram/Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter, LinkedIn). This role combines strategy, content creation (shooting, editing, writing, posting), community building, and seeding to drive awareness, engagement, and brand affinity. You’ll report on performance, identify trends/themes weekly, and keep organic views flowing.
This isn’t a “behind the desk only” role. You’ll be the creator zero: planning calendars, filming and posting content yourself, staying ahead of trends before they break, managing community and collabs, and creating the type of brand presence that drives lasting growth. You’ll also own creator relationships and content partnerships, working closely with the marketing and creative teams to identify, negotiate, and manage collaborations and paid creator campaigns.

- Manage creator relationships, content collaborations, and paid partnerships across all brands.
- Source and vet creators aligned with brand voice and goals.
- Negotiate deliverables and fees, and oversee campaign execution from outreach through content delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track performance, usage rights, and future opportunities.
