Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain sales playbooks, battlecards, pitch guides, discovery frameworks, objection docs, and product one-pagers
  • Run structured onboarding and ongoing training, including milestones and first-call readiness certification
  • Coach reps through call shadowing, meeting attendance, and direct one-on-one feedback
  • Create a readiness framework that identifies rep strengths, gaps, and development actions
  • Measure ramp time, assessment scores, completion, and performance trends to improve enablement

What you bring

  • Startup experience building and expanding an enablement function, preferably in a Series A to C company
  • People-management experience, ideally leading a team of at least four
  • A record of hiring and building a high-performing team
  • Hands-on work with account executives or sales development representatives
  • Strong sales content, facilitation, coaching, and direct-feedback skills

Who this fits

You’ll suit a builder who can establish enablement from scratch, work directly with sellers, and operate comfortably amid ambiguity. The role manages hires across the US, UK, and France, reports to the CRO, and combines in-person and remote work from an office in Los Angeles, New York City, or Atlanta. Interest in AI for daily work, team processes, sales tooling, and training is expected, along with enthusiasm for restaurants and hospitality.

From the employer

👋 About Us

sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Global Sales Enablement Manager to build and own the Enablement function at Sunday. This team will own training, coaching, and knowledge infrastructure for our global sales org (SDRs and AEs). You’ll be the first hire and be responsible for scaling the team to 6 by the end of 2027. You’ll manage hires across the US, UK and FR.

This role reports directly to the CRO and sits inside the sales org. You’ll work closely with Sales Directors, GTM Operations, and Product to ensure everything you build is grounded in how our reps actually sell - and tied directly to rep performance and business results.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge Center & Sales Content

• Own and maintain the Sales Knowledge Center: playbooks, battlecards, pitch guides, discovery frameworks, objection handling docs, and product one-pagers

• Ensure all content stays current as our product, pricing, and competitive landscape evolve

• Build materials reps actually reference in the field - not a content library that collects dust

Training & Onboarding

• Design and run the sales training calendar: structured onboarding for new hires and continuous skill development for the full team

• Own the new hire onboarding program - 30/60/90 structure, milestones, and first-call readiness certification

• Partner with Sales Directors to identify skill gaps and build targeted training interventions

Coaching & Rep Development

• Embed your team within the Sales org - attend meetings, shadow calls, give direct and constructive 1:1 feedback

• Build a rep readiness framework: know who is strong on what, where the gaps are, and what to do about it

• Track individual rep improvement over time and feed insights to Sales leadership

Measurement & Iteration

• Define and track metrics that show whether training is working: ramp time, skill assessment scores, session completion, and rep performance trends

• Continuously improve the program based on data and rep feedback

About You

Must-Haves:

  • Background in a startup environment (Series A–C preferred) building and scaling enablement functions

  • Management experience ideally of a team of 4+ in previous roles

  • Experience building a team and hiring best in class talent

  • Direct, consistent experience working with sales reps (AEs and/or SDRs) — not supporting from a distance

  • Strong content creation skills: playbooks, battlecards, talk tracks, and training sessions that land

  • Facilitation and coaching ability: comfortable running a room, giving direct feedback, and holding reps accountable with empathy

  • Builder mindset: energized by ambiguity and excited to go from zero to one

  • Excitement about leaning into AI usage - in your day to day, team processes and sales tooling and training

  • A passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry

Nice to Have:

  • Restaurant tech experience

  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms (Highspot, Seismic, or similar)

  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, MixMax, etc.)

What We Offer

  • $140,000 to $160,000

  • Stock Options

  • A great office in the heart of LA, NYC or Atlanta, with a balance of in-person and remote work

  • Free Vacation Policy

  • 100% Employer-Covered Health Insurance

  • 401K Plan
