ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a rockstar Social Media Manager to lead a small SMM team and manage social media channels for a leading DTC/ecommerce brand in the health & wellness space, spearheading their organic social presence and community engagement efforts. You’ll be responsible for managing their small content team, ensuring their brand voice stays consistent across all platforms, and creating engaging, on-brand social experiences that drive awareness and loyalty. This role blends creativity, leadership, and strategy — managing day-to-day content while also acting as the link between their organic, paid, and customer support teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a small organic social media team (currently two agents) responsible for daily posting, engagement, and content creation.
  • Maintain a consistent and recognizable brand voice across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and others).
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee daily organic posting and community interactions to ensure the brand stays active, relevant, and engaging.
  • Coordinate with content creators, influencers, and affiliates to source and amplify authentic user-generated content.
  • Act as the bridge between the organic social, paid ads, and content production teams — sharing insights, trends, and creative ideas to align messaging and strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with the customer support team to ensure tone and responses are aligned across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor social media conversations, identify community trends, and report back actionable insights about audience sentiment, opportunities, and gaps.
  • Keep all social media bios, highlights, and brand assets up to date, ensuring that each platform reflects the company’s identity and messaging.
  • Track social media KPIs (engagement, follower growth, community sentiment, content performance) and provide regular updates to the Content Manager and Social Media Strategist.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • You have proven experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand, preferably in lifestyle, fitness, or wellness industries.
  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a small team in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a strong understanding of social trends, algorithms, and community-building strategies.
  • You know how to blend creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making.
  • You’re confident communicating across teams and thrive in a collaborative, global work environment.
  • Ability to work in US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
  • Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift

BENEFITS

  • Competitive pay, always in US dollars
  • Work remotely from the comfort of your home
  • Health & wellness benefit
  • Paid holidays and time off
  • Performance and referral bonuses
  • Global exposure to the world’s best companies
