The Account Management Data Team ensures our B2B customers get the maximum value from our industry-leading data solutions while driving strategic retention and expansion. As our new Account Manager, you will serve as the dedicated advocate for a portfolio of clients, connecting their business goals with our data capabilities. With our data category rapidly expanding and our sights set on conquering new domains in the coming years, we need a proactive relationship builder to help us scale. The underlying challenge is not just keeping customers happy, but continuously educating them, spotting new opportunities, and managing complex technical and commercial conversations to drive both client success and revenue growth.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the dedicated point of contact for B2B customers, maintaining consistent communication across multiple channels to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify, negotiate, and drive new upsell and expansion opportunities, managing each deal through to successful closure.
- Act as the primary product advocate by addressing technical inquiries and collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues.
- Design and implement new value-creating activities, campaigns, and feedback collection strategies to deepen customer engagement.
- Oversee CRM data quality (including tracking opportunities, conversions, and data enrichment) to ensure accurate reporting and timely follow-ups.
Your skills & experiences:
- At least 1–2 years of experience managing customer engagements with a proven track record of driving positive outcomes for clients.
- Strong relationship-building skills and commercial awareness, with the ability to map our product value directly to the client's business goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, combined with the ability to advocate for customer interests internally.
- A strategic mindset for identifying account expansion opportunities and confidence in handling difficult conversations or objections effectively.
- A proactive, analytical, and collaborative mindset—you are comfortable "reading the room," tracking personal progress, and sharing your learnings with the team.
Nice to Have:
- Previous Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or Procurement experience at a B2B SaaS or data company.
- Hands-on sales experience.
- Negotiation skills and experience managing contract discussions.
- Familiarity with general data concepts.
