Who this fits
This suits a strategic partnerships professional who can shape offers and carry them through delivery, collaborating with Marketing, Legal and Product. It is a twelve-month fixed-term role based onsite in London, ideally starting in mid-February 2027.
From the employer
Build meaningful partnerships between universities and one of the UK’s most ambitious health research programmes.
Our Future Health is creating a research platform with the potential to support discoveries that improve health for generations to come. We’re looking for a proactive partnerships professional to help more academic researchers make use of that platform and turn promising ideas into practical, valuable collaborations.
You’ll help build our research partnerships function, leading relationships with universities and academic institutions. You’ll develop and refine ways for institutions and researchers to work with Our Future Health, then work with colleagues across the organisation to bring those models to life.
This is a role for someone who can think strategically and deliver in practice: listening to partners, spotting opportunities, shaping partnership offers and coordinating the work needed to launch and improve them.
This is a 12 month FTC, ideally starting mid February 2027.
What you’ll do
You’ll lead the development of new academic partnership models that increase research use of the Our Future Health platform. You’ll also build on existing relationships and approaches, using feedback and insight from academic leaders to help shape partnership models and inform platform improvements.
Working with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll develop plans to introduce new offers to academic institutions and support their take-up. You’ll lead active schemes for academic researchers, tracking engagement and impact so we can understand the value they create and improve what we offer.
You’ll build strong relationships with universities, researchers and senior academic stakeholders, and work closely with internal teams to support university engagement and recruitment activity. You’ll represent Our Future Health externally, communicating our research ambition and partnership opportunities with confidence.
Requirements
- You’ll have experience developing and managing partnerships with universities, research organisations or innovation partners.
- You’ll be able to shape a partnership offer, support its early delivery and use evidence and feedback to guide its development.
- You’ll bring strong relationship-building, communication and influencing skills, including confidence working with senior stakeholders and across organisational boundaries.
- You’ll be organised and effective at managing connected workstreams, while staying adaptable as partner needs and evidence develop.
- You’ll also be comfortable working collaboratively with teams such as Marketing, Legal and Product on complex partnership programmes.
- A strategic, innovative approach matters, alongside the ability to turn plans into delivery.
- You’ll have strong presentation skills and experience speaking to a range of academic audiences.
Closing date for applications: 9am, 16th November.
