What you'll do
- Build new business directly and through agencies, with a focus on digital products

What you bring
- At least five years in broadcast, cable or a comparable field
- At least five years selling digital products such as OTT, CTV, social, display or search
- At least five years working with transactional business through holding companies and local ad agencies
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Who this fits
This mid-level, full-time role suits an independent seller who can make decisions without supervision and is comfortable developing business, negotiating and closing. You should be able to position the value of major sports franchises, including NFL and college sports. The position may be based in Rockford or remote within Illinois or Wisconsin.

WTVO and FOX 39 have an opening for the right account executive who possesses:
- At least 5+ years in broadcast, cable or similar experience
- At least 5+ years in working with transactional business with both Hold Co’s and local ad agencies
- At least 5+ years in digital sales with the following products including OTT, CTV, social, display, Search and SEO
- Passion for sports and ability to position the value of NFL, College Football and Basketball and other major sports franchises
- Strong at new business development skills both direct and agency especially with digital products
- Growing an established account list by upselling 1st party Nexstar digital products, strategic pricing and outstanding account stewardship
- Ability to hold meaningful conversations with decision makers
- Ability to negotiate and CLOSE business and know that the word “no” is an opportunity!
- Demonstrates personal integrity to differentiate from the competition.
- Make decisions without supervision
- Play a role in the production of client’s creative elements
- Responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up and collections
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Position is full time and may be on location in Rockford or remote within Illinois or Wisconsin
