Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and executing inorganic growth strategies and initiatives that support Mahindra Group’s growth and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential partners, acquisition targets, and collaboration opportunities in line with the group’s strategic plan.
- Market Research: Conduct detailed market research to outline key industry trends, competitive landscape, value drivers for the industry and emerging partnership opportunities.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess the attractiveness and return potential of opportunities-at-hand
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and businesses within the group, such as strategy, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure successful partnership execution.
- Report and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on the status and performance of partnerships and alliances.
Experience
- 3-4 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, fund-raising ,financial due diligence or valuations.
- Preferred industry experience in a front-end investment banking/private equity role.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
CA or Master’s degree in in Finance, Business, or a related field from a premier institute.
General Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and ability to quickly comprehend and analyse company financials.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing & communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior professionals in an engagement team
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
