This role combines creative strategy with hands-on production - planning, shooting, editing, and publishing video content - while managing VEGA’s social media presence. The position requires close collaboration with marketing, training, and leadership teams.

VIDEO CONTENT

  • Plan, produce, and edit video content for marketing campaigns, product promotions, customer communications, and internal training resources.
  • Manage video production from start to finish: pre-production planning, filming, editing, animation, and post-production review.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Set up and stage video productions by selecting, assembling, and operating cameras, microphones, lighting, and other audiovisual equipment to ensure high-quality recording environments and optimal visual and sound performance.
  • Capture, edit, and deliver polished videos optimized for multiple platforms (web, social media, presentations, events).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage project timelines, logistics, and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and review video content, ensuring that all information presented is accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals and audience needs.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all video assets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep VEGA’s video content modern and effective.
  • Organize and maintain a video content library for reuse and accessibility.
  • Support training and onboarding initiatives by producing instructional or demo videos as needed.

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Work with Digital team to develop and execute content strategies across social media platforms.
  • Write and schedule posts that increase engagement with customers and prospects.
  • Monitor analytics to track performance and recommend content improvements.
  • Monitor and respond to online feedback and reviews, escalating issues when appropriate.

GENERAL MARKETING

  • Work with other team members and departments to ensure a consistent corporate image.
  • Contribute as a general Marketing resource for projects, initiatives, and events.
  • Provide metrics and updates on progress and success.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or equivalent from a four-year college or university
  • AND 1-3 years related experience in video production, editing, and content development and/or training;
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong understanding of creative direction, storytelling, and visual communication.
  • Strong writing skills with an understanding of tone and audience for professional social media communication.
  • Ability to plan and execute shoots, manage multiple projects, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner across departments.
