What is the opportunity?

As a Principal Technical Content Developer – End User Computing, you will be responsible for leading the content strategy, architecture, and technical enablement direction for Omnissa's Horizon and broader End User Computing (EUC) product suite. You will serve as a go-to technical authority for the Product Specialist and Technical Enablement Team, publishing premier guidance on our TechZone platform (techzone.omnissa.com), mentoring peers, and driving cross-functional, cross-geo initiatives that shape how customers, partners, and internal teams adopt and succeed with Omnissa's products. Here is a breakdown:

  • Serve as a widely recognized subject-matter expert across Horizon and related End User Computing / VDI technologies, providing technical guidance and mentoring to other content developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the research, planning, and architecture of technical enablement content for complex product areas, suites, or end-to-end solutions, and drive content architecture and platform/tooling improvement projects.
  • Author and publish authoritative technical guidance to TechZone and other channels, combining deep product roadmap knowledge with emerging industry trends to define new customer use cases and supporting solutions architecture.
  • Lead cross-functional, cross-geo content initiatives—setting schedules, delegating tasks, and reporting progress to senior leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to product management and engineering on strategic initiatives that influence the product roadmap, informed by customer and field input, market trends, and competitive knowledge.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the most critical and complex customer and partner situations, leading others through resolution.
  • Represent Omnissa as a sought-after speaker at customer-facing presentations and industry events, and mentor others through coaching and technical training.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of industry-wide documentation practices to continuously evolve Omnissa's content styles, standards, and best practices.

  • Solutions Architecture: Proven ability to architect complete, complex end-to-end solutions and to influence product roadmap, design, and implementation based on customer, field, and competitive input.
  • Analytical Skills: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently learn new technologies, test products hands-on, and translate deep technical understanding into clear guidance for others.
  • Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills; a respected evangelist capable of articulating company and product strategy and value; sought-after speaker at industry and customer events.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, cross-geo projects and to mentor others both technically and professionally, setting the example for the team.
  • Customer-Focused: Trusted advisor to customers and partners on IT infrastructure beyond point products and solutions, with a track record of resolving the most critical and complex customer situations.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in VDI solutions, product management, or technical marketing in the end user computing software industry.
