  • Shoot and edit original vertical video at offices, data centers, and industry events
  • Turn launches, research, benchmarks, executive input, and customer stories into technically accurate social posts

  • Measure engagement, reach, share of voice, and follower growth, then refine the channel plan

What you bring

  • At least four years managing social for a technical, developer-focused, or B2B technology brand
  • A self-shot and self-edited short-form video portfolio, including phone-based work
  • Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, infrastructure, or cloud concepts
  • Strong enough writing to engage CTOs and ML engineers without sacrificing accuracy
  • Experience coordinating channel calendars, performance reporting, and several fast-moving requests

Who this fits

You’ll suit a hands-on creator role that combines filming, editing, technical writing, channel operations, and rapid response to industry news. The role favors independent, highly organized people who can move quickly while working with product, engineering, executives, recruiting, events, PR, and workplace teams. It is onsite in San Francisco.

From the employer

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe is hiring a Developer Social & Content Manager to own our organic social presence end-to-end. Not just scheduling posts, but shooting and editing short-form video on-site at our offices and data centers, translating dense technical announcements (new GPU clusters, model training milestones, infrastructure launches) into content that lands with ML engineers, infrastructure leads, and AI researchers, and building a real following among the technical audience that actually cares about what we build.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks like a creator first and a marketer second: comfortable pulling out a phone at a product launch or an industry event and coming back with something worth posting, comfortable enough with AI/infrastructure concepts to write copy that doesn't get laughed out of a technical Twitter/X reply thread, and organized enough to run a real editorial calendar across channels.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Own Crusoe's social channels (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms) end-to-end: strategy, content calendar, publishing, and performance reporting.

  • Shoot and edit short-form video yourself (on-site at data centers, at industry events, and in the office) no production crew required.

  • Launch Crusoe's TikTok from scratch and create native platform-specific vertical content for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. This is a video-first, platform-native role, not repurposed clips from longer content.

  • Turn technical source material (product launches, research/benchmark results, executive commentary, customer stories) into social-native content that's accurate enough to hold up under scrutiny from a technical audience yet engaging enough to hold their attention.

  • Build and maintain relationships with AI/infrastructure creators, researchers, and technical journalists to expand organic reach.

  • Build social-native funnels that go beyond awareness. Use automation to move engaged followers through the same capture, nurture, convert logic we run on web, adapted to how people actually behave on each platform.

  • Source, brief, and manage a roster of contractors, freelance creators, and influencers who extend our content and campaign output, and build a user-generated content (UGC) pipeline that gets Crusoe's story told by voices beyond our own channels.

  • Monitor real-time AI/infrastructure conversation and react quickly when Crusoe has something relevant to add.

  • Partner with product, engineering, and exec stakeholders to source technical content and keep messaging accurate.

  • Be a fast, reliable partner to teams outside marketing who all lean on social for their own moments: People & Recruiting, Field Marketing/Events, PR/Comms, Workplace, and Exec/Leadership.

  • Track engagement, reach, share of voice (SOV), and follower growth against goals; report on what's working and adjust.

  • Represent Crusoe's brand voice: technical, credible, confident, humble, optimistic

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 4+ years managing social media for a technical, developer-facing, or B2B tech brand. AI/ML/infrastructure/cloud experience strongly preferred.

  • A portfolio of short-form video you've shot and edited yourself (phone-shot is fine - we care about instinct and pacing, not production value).

  • Genuine fluency with AI/ML and infrastructure concepts. You don't need to have trained a model, but you should be able to read a technical launch and know what's actually interesting about it.

  • Strong writing chops! You can write a thread that a CTO would retweet and an ML engineer wouldn't roast.

  • Experience running a multi-channel editorial calendar and reporting on performance.

  • Comfortable working independently, moving fast, and reacting to news in real time.

  • Intense operational rigor: strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, requests, and posts at once without dropping the ball.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with community platforms (Discord, Reddit, Hacker News) relevant to the developer/AI audience and social media management tools like Sprout Social.

  • Existing relationships with AI/infrastructure creators, journalists, or influencers.

  • Basic motion graphics/editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects, or similar).

  • Prior experience at a GPU cloud, hyperscaler, or AI infrastructure company.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Restricted Stock Units

  • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

  • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

  • Employer contributions to HSA account

  • Paid parental leave

  • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

  • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

  • Mental health & wellness support

  • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

  • Cell phone stipend

  • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

  • Volunteer time off

  • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

  • Daily meals allowance

  • Additional perks & programs specific to location

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
