- Own the Customer Sales Process: Lead opportunities from initial discovery through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and commercial close while maintaining ownership of the customer relationship throughout the funding process.
- Sell the Financial Value of Incentives: Help customers understand incentive value, eligibility, timing, capital requirements, reimbursement structures, and how we can reduce both project cost and administrative complexity.
- Qualify Customer and Project Readiness: Determine whether customers have a viable project, appropriate decision-making authority, sufficient capital or financing capacity, realistic timing, and the ability to meet program requirements before significant internal resources are committed.
- Partner With the Funding Team: Work closely with Funding team to understand program requirements, customer eligibility, documentation needs, deadlines, and application strategy while maintaining commercial ownership of the opportunity.
- Maintain Pipeline and Forecast Discipline: Manage all opportunities through Salesforce with accurate stages, values, next actions, close dates, probability, customer notes, and revenue forecasts.

- Demonstrated success selling a consultative, financial, technical, or complex B2B service where the salesperson must understand the customer's business case and translate complexity into commercial value.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including the ability to discuss project investment, customer capital requirements, ROI, reimbursement structures, financing, and the financial impact of incentives.
- Ability to interpret complex program information and translate it into an actionable sales strategy, including identifying the appropriate geographies, industries, customer profiles, and decision-makers to target.
- Strong prospecting and business-development capabilities across outbound outreach, strategic partnerships, referrals, account development, and targeted campaigns.
