Job Description:
Shield AI is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead messaging and positioning for its V-BAT aircraft. This role will translate complex aircraft and autonomy capabilities into clear, mission-driven narratives that differentiate V-BAT, equip our go-to-market teams, and build understanding among customers, policymakers, and industry leaders.What you'll do:
- Own messaging and positioning for V-BAT across missions, customer segments, and global markets.
- Translate aircraft and autonomy capabilities into differentiated, mission-driven value propositions.
- Develop core product marketing assets, including sales decks, product briefs, launch materials, and campaign content.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to bring new capabilities to market with clear, consistent messaging.
- Support market and competitive analysis, translating insights into differentiated positioning and actionable recommendations for GTM teams.
- Enable GTM teams with the messaging, content, and tools needed to articulate V-BAT's value across technical and operational audiences.
- Develop thought leadership, including articles, op-eds, and blogs, that advances Shield AI's perspective on V-BAT, relevant missions, and operational concepts.
- Partner with leading think tanks and policy organizations to elevate Shield AI's products and perspectives.
V-BAT Product Marketing
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of direct military aviation experience
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, autonomy, and intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and targeting (ISR-T) missions.
- Experience creating high-impact sales enablement and product marketing assets.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, and GTM teams.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce original, persuasive content across multiple formats and audiences. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in product marketing, product management, or sales within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
