What you'll do
- Find and qualify new opportunities across your regional territory, then turn them into lasting customer business

- Keep forecasts, customer activity, pipeline analysis, and opportunity reports current in Salesforce or another CRM
- Coordinate with Professional Services, Marketing, Legal, and Finance while representing EPLAN at industry events
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related discipline
- At least three years selling engineering software to senior executives through complex, methodical sales cycles
- A record of expanding accounts and growing territories, plus familiarity with account-planning approaches
- Knowledge of electrical automation in manufacturing is useful for the role

Primary Activities/Duties
Account Management
- Identify, analyze, and prospect new sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into sustainable business.
- Maximize subscription and services revenue with new and existing customers.
- Negotiate and close deals while maintaining strong customer relationships at executive and mid-management levels.
- Execute sales strategy based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop accounts and their ecosystems to apply the full EPLAN Platform for maximum value and integration.
- Represent EPLAN at conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
- Build and maintain a strong network with customers, partners, and industry associations.
- Analyze short- and long-term opportunities using data-driven insights.
- Develop strategic account plans for major customers.
- Initiate corrective actions when necessary to meet targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts regularly.
- Maintain customer data and activity in CRM (Salesforce preferred).
- Continuously analyze sales results, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Prepare reports and presentations on performance and opportunities.
- Act as a team player and orchestrator across EPLAN departments including Professional Services, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
- Communicate openly with management about market developments, challenges, and competitive threats.
- Customer Portfolio: Selected EPLAN customers and prospects within a regional territory.
- Product Portfolio: Full suite of EPLAN products and services.
- Subscription Management: Responsible for renewals and expansion of EPLAN subscriptions.
- Travel: Approximately 40–50% to customer sites and internal meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling engineering software solutions to senior-level executives in a complex sales cycle following a proven methodology.
- Proven success in account development and territory growth.
- Knowledge of the electrical automation market in manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with account planning methodologies
