From the employer
About Read AI:
Read AI is making meetings more valuable for over 5MM monthly active users, adding over 50K+ new accounts on a daily basis. With 80% of users who try Read AI still using the product after 30 days, we are driving true outcomes from meetings.
Backed by $82 million in funding from Smash Capital, Madrona, and Goodwater Capital, Read AI is growing quickly. Read AI has only recently started investing in paid acquisition, where in the past we relied heavily on our strong PLG motion. If you're excited by big markets, fast growth, and building something meaningful from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
The Role:
We’re looking for a hands on, analytical, and experimentation-focused Growth Marketing Manager to help build our paid growth engine. Your initial focus will be scaling B2C acquisition through creative-led paid social, especially Meta, while improving the measurement, experimentation, and conversion systems required to grow efficiently.
This is an individual-contributor role with significant ownership. Over time, the role may grow into broader program or team leadership. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing and partner closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations.
What You'll Do:
Manage and scale paid acquisition across channels (Meta, Google, Bing, TikTok, Reddit), with clear accountability for CAC, ROAS, and revenue growth
Drive creative strategy as a core growth lever: lead high-volume testing, iteration, and optimization of ad creatives
Support the build-out of an in-house UA function, reducing reliance on agencies and increasing velocity of learning and execution
Develop and refine attribution models, incrementality testing, and performance measurement frameworks
Identify and help unlock new acquisition channels (e.g., affiliate, TikTok, Snapchat)
Continuously test and optimize targeting, bidding, and campaign structures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to optimize landing pages and conversion funnels by channel
Ensure tight alignment between ad creative, messaging, and on-site experience to maximize conversion rates
Collaborate on experimentation roadmaps across acquisition and funnel optimization
What You’ll Need:
Proven track record running and scaling paid acquisition to tens of millions of dollars in ad spend (ideally hands-on experience across multiple apps or products)
Building the function in-house versus relying on agencies
Strong expertise in Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (SEM, YouTube) with a history of scaling and delivering ongoing optimization.
Strong analytical mindset—comfortable building attribution models and interpreting complex datasets
Demonstrated ability to execute creative-driven growth strategies (not just media buying)
"Growth hacker" mentality: highly experimental, innovative, and constantly testing new approaches
Experience managing meaningful spend and scaling efficiently
What Success Looks Like:
Increasing Read AI’s performance marketing spend to the tens of millions behind ROI that scales
Reduction in CAC and improvement in ROAS
Volume and success rate of creative testing (e.g., % of winning creatives)
Scalable acquisition growth across channels
Measurable improvements in conversion rates in partnership with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams
