Position Details
As a UI/UX Director for "my Rakuten Mobile," which handles various applications, data usage, and procedures for Rakuten Mobile, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conducting hearings with the business department and organizing UI requirements
- Creating screen transition diagrams, wireframes, and UI designs that comply with the design system
- Communicating with the development team (PDM, engineers, etc.)
- Conducting UI tests in the test environment (including some collaboration with overseas development teams)
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with project owners, engineers, the CS team, the UX strategy and research team, and other departments to smoothly advance projects
Additionally, depending on your experience and performance after joining, you may also be considered for the role of a team leader for a small team, with the following responsibilities:
- Team management and talent development: As a team leader, supporting the skill improvement and career growth of team members

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in UI production direction for web application development projects aimed at end-users
- Practical experience in UI design using design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD
- Experience in creating conditional branching diagrams, screen transition diagrams, etc., based on use case classification, user flow design, validation results, etc.
- KPI setting and reporting
- Experience in business improvement and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles
- Communication skills to smoothly advance projects with stakeholders and team members
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English to perform tasks (communication skills)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in advancing projects within large and complex organizations
- Experience in UI production direction for native applications
- Experience in building and operating design systems
- Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience in creating user test scenarios and validation items
