From the employer

Job Description:

Ready to shape how more than a thousand people hear, understand, and connect with our mission? As Senior Manager, Employee Communications & Employer Branding, you’ll lead employee communications and employer brand at Pluralsight, and stay hands-on in the work. You’ll lead a dedicated team member who drives communications and owns our intranet.

This is a time of bold transformation, and your work will help us shape what’s next. You’ll partner directly with the Chief People Officer, the Office of the CEO, and our executive leadership team to build transparency and help every team member see how they contribute to our goals. You’ll also shape how employees, candidates, and the market see Pluralsight as an employer. You’ll grow with purpose, using AI to work faster while keeping accuracy, judgment, and trust at the center of what we say. And you’ll help us thrive together by telling stories that strengthen connection, engagement, and belonging.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with executive leadership to create key messaging for town halls, leadership updates, and all-staff communications
  • Advise the CPO and executive team on communication strategy for major organizational changes, including mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and culture initiatives
  • Write, edit, and publish newsletters, intranet posts, leadership messages, and announcements, keeping content accurate, current, and consistent across channels
  • Develop and share our Employer Value Proposition, and create employer brand content with Talent Acquisition that attracts and informs candidates
  • Own our reputation channels, such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn, and lead PS Ambassador, our internal employee advocacy and storytelling channel
  • Lead and coach a team of communications and branding professionals, and turn pulse survey and engagement insights into clear communication action plans

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading communications for People programs, such as employee experience, culture, inclusion and belonging, or learning and development
  • A track record of advising executive leaders on messaging and storytelling that drives organizational change and engagement
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI in communications, with sound judgment on where human review and ownership are required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels
  • Experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, reputation management, or running an employee advocacy program, ideally in a global, distributed, or technology environment
  • A portfolio or work samples that show clear, engaging content, plus a team-first mindset, curiosity, and a habit of asking for feedback

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience supporting internal communications programs within an HR, marketing, or corporate communications function
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, including coaching and developing experienced individual contributors
  • Travel: Travel expectations differ by role. Some quota-bearing sales positions involve limited travel, while others may involve travel of up to 40%, depending on business needs.
  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Why you’ll love working here

  • We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams.
  • We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskillling and delivering impact that matters.
  • We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive.
  • We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose.
  • Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more.
