From the employer

About Paradigm

Paradigm is a new type of spreadsheet for automating manual research with agents. We are based in San Francisco and are backed by ~$10M from General Catalyst, Y Combinator, and some of the best builders and operators in technology, including the founders of Ramp, Dropbox, and more.

Our team is small and talent-dense. We are serial builders who have worked and studied at Google, Databricks, Penn, Bridgewater, and more.

The spreadsheet interface is just the beginning. Our mission is to build a new type of agent-centric workspace that massively increases the productivity of knowledge workers. If you want to work on frontier AI systems that tackle meaningful real-world challenges and push the boundaries of what intelligent software can do, apply to join us.

About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional operator to own the top of our sales funnel and build the engine that brings Paradigm to the market.

You'll find the right buyers, figure out the smartest ways to reach them, and book qualified meetings that turn into customers. This is a role for someone creative and relentless, who treats getting in front of the right people as a problem worth solving well rather than a script to run. We don't do spray-and-pray, our product exists because it doesn't work.

The best demonstration of Paradigm is Paradigm-generated pipeline: intent signals, relationship intelligence, warm-path surfacing, and outreach personalized off real research. You'll use our own product to do your job and set the standard for how outbound should work at a company that sells outbound intelligence.

No two weeks will look the same. You'll experiment, find what works, and build the playbook as you go. As Paradigm grows, this role will naturally evolve alongside the company, with opportunities to expand into full-cycle sales, growth leadership, or broader go-to-market roles.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the top of the funnel: research accounts, identify the right buyers, and map the executive sponsors and champions worth reaching inside each one.

  • Build and run multi-channel outbound (email, LinkedIn, calls) that gets qualified meetings on the calendar, personalized off real research rather than generic sequences.

  • Use Paradigm itself to source intent signals, surface warm paths, and turn relationship intelligence into pipeline.

  • Understand each prospect's business and reach the right stakeholders with outreach that actually lands.

  • Partner with AEs and cross-functional teammates to open new opportunities and push them forward.

  • Consistently hit monthly meeting and opportunity targets, and feed what you learn back into product, marketing, and the broader playbook.

Requirements for this role:

  • 1–4 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or growth role, ideally selling a technical product

  • Exceptional written communication with the ability to make a technical product feel relevant to any buyer—technical or not.

  • Relentless self-direction and a strong sense of ownership over the top of the funnel

  • High comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a still-forming playbook

  • A genuine builder's instinct, energized by a clever intent signal or a new outbound play, and comfortable operating tools deeply rather than running a rote sequence

  • Track record of consistently hitting or beating meeting and pipeline targets, with specifics you can walk us through

You Might Excel If…

  • Have prospected an AI-native, technical, or data product

  • Get excited about building a smart, signal-driven prospecting motion from scratch rather than inheriting one

  • Are energized by fast-paced environments where you own the number that matters most

  • Are highly resourceful and can figure almost anything out

  • Have experience with software engineering, studied computer science, or another technical background

  • Want to grow into full-cycle sales or growth leadership over time
