The Social Media Coordinator/ Content Creator reports to the Head of Social and is responsible for executing high-impact, social-first video content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and revenue growth across Our Place. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with ownership of day-to-day TikTok content creation, video production, community-driven initiatives, specific Founder-led content, and platform growth strategies. The Social Media Coordinator/ Content Creator partners closely with the Founders, Creative, and Marketing teams to bring the brand to life through compelling, timely, and culturally relevant content.

We have a hybrid working culture and are looking for this person to be on site 2 - 3 times a week at our brand new Our Place headquarters in West Los Angeles.

What you'd do

  • Content Creation & Production

  • Interpret the monthly social media calendar to develop and execute TikTok content aligned with strategy, marketing goals, brand, and messaging guidelines

  • Lead end-to-end TikTok content production, including ideation, filming, editing, and publishing with oversight and creative direction from the Head of Social

  • Be comfortable creating food and cooking-focused content, including basic food preparation and minimal food styling for camera

  • Deliver a minimum of one TikTok per weekday and one Founder-led piece of content per month

  • Community Engagement

  • Lead and manage the TikTok Bulletin Board and Instagram Broadcast Channel, driving community engagement initiatives tied to product drops and key brand moments

  • Support the Head of Social in community management across all social platforms by monitoring comments, engaging with followers, and identifying opportunities to drive engagement and brand affinity

  • Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Assist the Head of Social in executing social and brand-building initiatives, coordinating across teams on projects including events, influencer and community seeding, partnerships, and other key brand moments.

  • Plan and deliver weekly TikTok content strategy meetings with the Head of Social, ensuring all content is produced ahead of scheduled posting dates and executed within established timelines and budgets

  • Partner cross-functionally with Social, Creative Production, and Marketing teams as needed.

Who you are

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related role

  • Strong interest in social media, pop culture, food, and trends

  • A genuine love of food and cooking, with an eye for how food can be captured beautifully and naturally on social

  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and evolving social platforms, with an understanding of what feels native to each

  • Comfortable filming and editing short-form video content, with an eagerness to continue developing these skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines with guidance from the Head of Social

  • Flexible and willing to travel locally to Our Place stores, events, shoots, and other locations to capture content as needed

  • Adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities, quick turnarounds, and last-minute opportunities

  • Action-oriented, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever needed

  • Collaborative, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn and grow within the Social team
