The Brand Manager has the responsibility to ensure the growth of the Brand in turnover, margin and penetration. In partnership with the Marketing and Category Director, the Brand Manager must build a strong expertise of the brand, in order to propose the right marketing and trade marketing plans and then follow up and coordinate these initiatives with best-in-class execution and within the predetermined budgets and timings.
The Brand Manager is very enthusiastic about the brand and our products. He/she strongly believes in the values of team spirit, open dialogue and passion and also propagates these in order to achieve an optimal work result.
- Together with the Marketing and Category Director, you develop a vision for the further growth of the Brand in the various channels (retail and OOH) and know how to convert this into a strategy and execution plan. The vision, strategy and plans must be in line with the global strategy.
- You gain the best insights into product category, competition, customers and own actions, in close cooperation with the Sales and Category Development colleagues in order to arrive at the best plans.
- You inspire and mobilize the entire organization around your brand and plans.
- Together with the Marketing and Category Director, you have a leading role in optimizing the product range.
- This includes both monitoring the performance of the existing range and developing a strong NPD pipeline with new products.
- You lead the roll-out of NPD’s and EPD’s from idea to launch and work together with Supply Chain, Sales and Global Brand
- You build up strong product knowledge about all product categories, which allows you to systematically monitor and increase the quality of the existing product range in collaboration with R&D and production, as well as to think creatively about NPD/EPD opportunities.
- You can draw up clear briefings for product-oriented market research
- You provide a commercial 360° support in which all elements of the marketing mix come together in best-in-class executions (e.g. Digital media, promotion in the point of sale, website, packaging), and communicate this effectively and in a timely manner to Sales.
- Lead the creation/adaptation of trade marketing assets (Key visuals, Shippers, coupons,…)
- You lead packaging projects from briefing to execution, timely delivery of logistics information to sales, ...
- Lead Digital Marketing strategy and execution
- You are the point of contact for our social channels and website and are responsible for driving the content agenda.
- Min. 2 years of experience in marketing (Trade Marketing/ (jr.) Brand management) in a CPG environment
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics
- Project management, stakeholder management and time management are crucial: as a brand manager you manage colleagues from different departments and successfully lead projects through the various milestones. You can easily keep several balls in the air at the same time and achieve the desired results in time.
- You can easily switch from helicopter view (to keep an overview) to a microscopic view (you also have an eye for details)
- You are very familiar with Digital Marketing and Social Media (Meta, TikTok, Youtube,…)
- You think proactively and like to take initiative and ownership
- Good communication skills (to your own team, to the project team and to senior management)
