  • You write and edit well, and can work confidently with social analytics and KPIs
  • You speak English fluently and are eligible to work in Sweden

Who this fits

This mid-level role suits someone who turns audience insight into content choices and values relevance and engagement alongside reach. You’ll work with strategists and creatives, and coach junior colleagues and interns. It is a full-time Stockholm role, with January 2027 as the preferred start.

From the employer

Can you look at a brand’s feed and immediately have a sense of what it should do differently? Do you have opinions on which brands get their communities right, and why? Do you want to turn that curiosity into content strategy, side by side with strategists and creatives? This might be your next role.

The opportunity

We’re continuing to grow our Stockholm team and are looking for a full-time Associate Social Media Strategist, ideally starting in January 2027.

What you'll do
You’ll own content and social workstreams for clients ranging from start-ups to international brands. That means following audiences and where culture is heading, building content plans grounded in insight, developing ideas together with our creatives, and measuring what works. You’ll work in teams with brand, communication, and insights strategists, art directors, and copywriters.

Main responsibilities

  • Own content and social workstreams, from planning and delivery to reporting

  • Build content plans and channel strategies grounded in research and insight

  • Develop ideas together with art directors and copywriters

  • Define success metrics, measure impact, and turn results into clear recommendations

  • Present to client stakeholders and be their day-to-day contact

  • Contribute to pitches and new business, and help shape our methods and tools, including AI

  • Coach junior colleagues and interns

What we're looking for
You might come from a social or content agency, a media company, an in-house team, or a creative role. What matters is that you’re curious about where audiences are heading, can turn data into a clear point of view, and measure success by relevance and engagement, not just reach.

Qualifications

  • Around 2–3 years of relevant experience in content and social, including owning a piece of work from start to finish

  • Experience presenting work and recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders

  • Strong copywriting and editing, plus fluency in social analytics and KPIs

  • Experience with gaming, entertainment, or consumer brands, multi-market work, or social listening tools is a plus

  • Fluent in English; additional languages (including Swedish) are a plus

  • Eligibility to work in Sweden

Who we are and what we offer
Kurppa Hosk is a brand and communication agency with 200+ people in Stockholm, Oslo, New York and Chicago. We work with brave organizations, from early-stage start-ups to Zalando, Scania, Nike, Meta and Minecraft. We’re also a founding member of Eidra, a collective of specialist companies, so you’ll have management consultants, digital experts and product innovators down the hall.

You’ll get a personal coach, peer feedback on every project and courses in areas like AI and strategy. Benefits include 30 days’ vacation, a wellness allowance, private health insurance, an occupational pension, and a phone and laptop. You’ll work from our award-winning office at Grev Tureplan.

How to apply
Send us your resume and a short letter introducing your background. In it, cover two things:

  1. Tell us about a content or social workstream you owned that had an outsized impact. What did you do, and what made it land?

  2. Something you've noticed recently that you haven't been able to stop thinking about, whether it's a brand, a cultural shift, a product or something you overheard. What caught your attention, and what do you think is really going on underneath it?

Keep the letter to one A4 page at most. We’re reading for how you think, not necessarily how you write, so give us your own thinking, in your own voice. We’d much rather read something genuinely yours than something perfectly polished by AI.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until November 6, 2026.
