Job Description:

As a Microsoft Sales Specialist, Partner Recruit at Ingram Micro, you will have a clearly defined commercial sales role focused on identifying, recruiting, and activating new Microsoft partners across the Finnish and Nordic markets. You will work hands-on with outbound sales, partner activation, and business development, with clear accountability for pipeline, revenue, and partner-driven growth.

The role combines new business development with partner growth and requires you to independently drive opportunities from initial contact through to an active, revenue-generating partnership. You will work closely with internal teams such as Customer Success, Solution Architects, Sales Specialists, and Marketing to ensure that partners can quickly accelerate their Microsoft business and convert potential into tangible growth.

This is a dedicated sales role for someone who thrives on creating momentum, identifying new business opportunities, and translating Microsoft’s portfolio and ecosystem into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Partner Recruitment

  • Identify, engage, and recruit new Microsoft partners in line with Ingram Micro’s growth strategy.
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of leads and opportunities, including accurate forecasting in CRM.
  • Drive outbound sales activities and convert prospects into active partners.

Partner Activation & Growth

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient onboarding and a short time to revenue.
  • Support partners in understanding and leveraging Microsoft programs and offerings.
  • Participate in events, webinars, and partner activities.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Vendor teams on campaigns and strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Ingram Micro and Microsoft in external meetings, events, and other relevant forums.
  • Deliver against defined sales targets and KPIs.

What You Bring to the Role

You are a results-driven sales professional who thrives on creating new business and building long-term relationships. You are comfortable with outbound sales, have a strong commercial mindset, and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

With a solid understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and partner landscape, you can quickly identify partners with the greatest business potential and understand how to translate programs and frameworks into actual sales opportunities and revenue. You work in a structured way, consistently follow up on your activities, and take full ownership of your pipeline.

You are comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial decision-makers and can clearly articulate the business value of Microsoft’s cloud solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • +5 years of experience in B2B sales within IT, cloud services, or partner/channel sales, preferably with a Microsoft focus.
  • Experience with Microsoft partner programs; knowledge of CSP, MCPP, and co-sell is considered an advantage.
  • Proven experience in outbound sales and pipeline management.
  • Ability to independently drive opportunities from initial contact through to close.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in partner and ecosystem sales.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience building and managing sales pipelines and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with a strong partner focus.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development through certifications.
  • A valid driver's license.
