Summary of Functions

The Marketing Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives that promote Ajman University’s academic programs, institutional initiatives, and brand positioning.

The role contributes to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, recruitment initiatives, and promotional activities designed to increase brand visibility, support student recruitment, and strengthen engagement with key audiences. The Marketing Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop marketing materials, coordinate campaign execution, and analyze performance metrics to improve marketing effectiveness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Execution

• Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns promoting academic programs, institutional initiatives, and student recruitment activities.

• Coordinate campaign deliverables across digital, social media, print, and event channels.

• Assist in developing marketing plans and promotional strategies aligned with institutional goals.

• Ensure marketing materials are aligned with Ajman University’s brand identity and messaging.

Content & Marketing Materials

• Coordinate the development of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, and promotional content.

• Work with designers, writers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality campaign assets.

• Ensure marketing content supports recruitment objectives and highlights key university strengths.

Event Marketing Support

• Support marketing and promotional activities related to university events, exhibitions, recruitment fairs, and institutional initiatives.

• Coordinate marketing materials and promotional assets for events and outreach activities.

• Assist in developing marketing coverage for key institutional events.

Digital Marketing Support

• Assist in executing digital marketing initiatives including social media campaigns, email marketing, and online advertising.

• Coordinate with digital marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.

• Monitor campaign performance and assist in optimizing digital marketing activities.

Market Research & Analytics

• Track and analyze marketing performance indicators including campaign reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.

• Assist in preparing reports on marketing campaign performance and recruitment activities.

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Collaborate with colleges, academic departments, and administrative offices to gather marketing content and program information.

• Support internal stakeholders in developing promotional materials for academic programs and initiatives.

• Ensure marketing activities are coordinated across different units of the University.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or campaign management, preferably within higher education, agency, or corporate environments.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign management, and brand communication.

• Experience coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing reporting tools.

• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Working Conditions
