From the employer
About Hark
Hark is an artificial intelligence company building advanced, personalized intelligence. One that is proactive, multimodal, and capable of interacting with the world through speech, text, vision, and persistent memory.
We're pairing that intelligence with next-generation hardware to create a universal interface between humans and machines. While today's AI largely operates through chat boxes and decade-old devices, Hark is focused on what comes next: agentic systems that interact naturally with people and the real world.
To get there, we're developing multimodal models and next-generation AI hardware together - designed from the ground up as a single, unified interface for a new era of intelligent systems.
About the Role
Hark is seeking a Performance Marketing Lead to architect and execute our brand marketing and paid acquisition engine from its inception. You will be responsible for defining the overarching strategy, managing social and complex campaigns, and leveraging data-driven insights to accelerate growth—collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to introduce a truly transformative product to the market.
This is a high-impact, hands-on opportunity for an individual who excels at scaling systems efficiently and thrives in an environment where they are the one authoring the playbook rather than following one.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage comprehensive social channels and paid acquisition initiatives across search, social, display, and various emerging digital platforms.
- Architect the foundation of our performance marketing infrastructure, establishing robust systems for attribution, tracking, and reporting from the ground up.
- Collaborate with design and brand teams to pioneer and validate creative strategies designed to maximize conversion and engagement.
- Synthesize complex product and organizational milestones into high-impact campaigns that resonate deeply with our target audience.
- Iteratively optimize capital allocation across diverse channels, utilizing rigorous data-driven insights rather than baseline assumptions.
- Establish core KPIs, monitor performance with precision, and maintain a rapid pace of iteration to drive sustained growth.
- Lead the recruitment and development of a high-performance, lean marketing team as the organization continues to scale.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of professional experience in performance marketing, demonstrating direct accountability for paid budgets and quantifiable growth outcomes.
- Proven track record of architecting paid acquisition programs from inception rather than merely maintaining existing frameworks.
- Deep technical fluency across paid social, SEM, and sophisticated attribution modeling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into actionable hypotheses and execute rapid iterations.
- Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative, product, and executive leadership teams.
- Prior experience marketing within a new product category or consumer hardware sector is highly advantageous.
- A self-directed operator who thrives when authoring their own roadmap rather than following a predefined playbook.
