The Social Media & Content Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing content across multiple digital and social media platforms. This mid-level role combines content creation, social media management, analytics, and strategic collaboration to support marketing objectives, strengthen brand awareness, and protect the organization’s online reputation. The role requires a balance of creative execution and data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities


Content Development & Creative Execution

  • Develop high-quality written copy tailored to platform-specific audiences and aligned with brand voice and messaging
  • Produce engaging multimedia content, including images, short-form video, and visual assets for social media and digital campaigns
  • Design and edit graphics using approved tools and templates to support content and campaign needs
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and quality expectations


Social Media Channel Management

  • Manage, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms
  • Maintain editorial calendars and ensure consistent, timely execution of campaigns and posts
  • Monitor social media activity, engage with audiences as appropriate, and escalate issues following established guidelines
  • Support online reputation management through proactive monitoring and response coordination

Strategy, Performance & Analytics
