The Product Marketing Engineer (PME) is responsible for developing business plans, marketing strategy and forecasts for assigned product lines. The PME maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. In this role, the PME identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.

About the Product Line: The Consumer Audio Amplifiers and Haptics (CAAH) product line powers the audio and haptic experiences in devices you use every day - from the smartphone in your pocket to the soundbar in your living room and the wearable on your wrist. Join a high-growth business delivering cutting-edge amplifier and haptics technology across smartphones, tablets, PCs, speakers, TVs, and industrial applications that touch hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive design ins to design wins to grow revenue while maintaining profitability
  • Maintain close relationships with top tier one customers and the respective account managers to understand opportunities
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers
  • Plan, manage and execute all marketing activities during the life cycle of a new product (Pre release, at release and post release)
  • Review competitive landscape and building strategies to address gaps
  • Interface with customers and TI field sales/applications to support design ins
  • Follow up weekly and monthly on opportunities; from price escalations, customer visits, sampling activity, etc.
  • Collaborate and communicate the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - price, campaigns, internet marketing, launch etc.
  • Devise effective strategies for mass market adoption
  • Engage and collaborate with other Demand Create Teams (Systems, HW Apps, SW Apps) to increase the opportunity funnel and market share

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum education: bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • 2 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
