Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Run DualEntry's social presence across X, LinkedIn and relevant communities
  • React in real time, posting the timely reply or phone-shot video that finance and startup people share
  • Jump into threads where people gripe about legacy tools and offer answers
  • Team up directly with the founders to boost their voice online
  • Track wins through engagement, follower gains and how many finance leaders recognize the brand

What you bring

  • At least three years running social for a startup, creator, or founder
  • A life spent immersed in founder and SaaS internet, always current
  • Strong short-form writing instincts, with the opening line carrying most of the weight
  • A bias toward shipping and adjusting rather than waiting for sign-off

Who this fits

This suits someone who lives online and moves fast, comfortable posting first and refining later. The role is onsite at the New York City HQ, with relocation and visa sponsorship available. Expectations run high in an in-office, high-trust environment. Fintech, community-building, paid social, or a personal newsletter or podcast are pluses, not requirements.

About DualEntry

DualEntry is building the OS for finance.

Every business needs a financial system of record, yet the world's largest fintech market ($220B+) still runs on software from the 1990s, with no new entrants in 30 years. DualEntry's AI-native ERP automates accounting from data entry to close, so finance teams move faster, spend less and incur less risk.

In just 2 years we've raised $100M+ from Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Contrary and Google Ventures and earned the trust of customers from $5M ARR to publicly traded companies.

We hire outliers. We're looking for people with a track record of accomplishing difficult things, whether through their careers or achievements outside of work. You'll find leaders, colleagues who've competed at the highest levels of sport, performed on Broadway, trained with UFC champions and founded the country’s largest Python community - because that's what it takes to reinvent a $220B industry.

📍 Location: New York City HQ, 7 World Trade Center

Where you'll create impact

You'll own the channels where finance and startup people love coming to. And you'll move faster than the incumbents.

  • The reply that gets 500 likes because you posted it 10 minutes after the moment happened

  • The video you shot on your phone this morning that founders are sharing with their teams

  • The subreddit thread where someone's complaining about NetSuite and you're already there with the answer

You'll work directly with the Founders to amplify their voice across X, LinkedIn, and the communities where it matters. You'll measure success in engagement, follower growth, and the number of finance leaders who know DualEntry because they saw you in their timeline.

What sets you up for success

  • 3+ years running social for a startup, creator, or founder.

  • You live on founder and SaaS internet. You know what's happening today without being told.

  • Native short-form writing instincts. First line does 80% of the work.

  • Speed over perfection. You'd rather post and adjust than wait for approval.

  • Hardcore work ethic. Social doesn't respect business hours.

Nice to have: fintech, accounting, or B2B SaaS familiarity · your own newsletter, podcast, or side project · community-building experience · paid social experience · a background that's more "extremely online operator" than "agency social media manager"
