Caring Transitions of Knoxville is seeking a personable, motivated Business Development Representative to help grow our local referral network. We support seniors and families through downsizing, relocation, estate sales, online auctions, and home clean-outs.
This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building professional relationships, and making a positive difference in the community.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with senior living communities, real estate professionals, estate planning attorneys, senior service providers, and other referral partners.
Introduce our services through calls, emails, in-person visits, and presentations.
Attend local networking events, community meetings, and professional gatherings.
Follow up with prospective partners and incoming business inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of contacts, outreach activities, and referral opportunities.
Coordinate with our team to connect prospective clients with the appropriate services.
Qualifications
Some experience in business development, sales, marketing, community outreach, or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
Compassion and sensitivity when working with seniors and families navigating life transitions.
Ability to work independently, manage time, and follow through consistently.
