This is a unique opportunity to directly impact our expansion by building a robust top-of-funnel pipeline for our Account Executive team through strategic and highly targeted outbound efforts. What you’ll be doing
Own the Outbound Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic outbound plan to build a pipeline of new customers across various new markets. This includes crafting targeted messaging for cold calls, emails, and meetings with physician organizations, MSOs, and PE-backed roll-ups ranging from mid-market to large enterprise.
Generate and Qualify Leads: Use a mix of prospecting tools and your own research to identify and qualify key decision-makers and target companies. You will be heavily involved in the initial discovery and qualification phase of the sales process.
Optimize the Sales Playbook: Help build and refine the sales playbook for current and future sellers. Your insights will be critical in developing best practices and scaling our sales efforts as we grow.
Partner for Success: Work closely with Account Executives to seamlessly hand off highly qualified leads that translate into new business.
Leverage Data: Use Salesforce and other sales automation tools to track and report on key sales metrics. You will manage and prioritize your sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
Be a Market Expert: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and the needs of our target clients in new markets. Continuously educate yourself on Candid's evolving products and value proposition to effectively differentiate us from the competition.
Amplify Your Talent: Candid is intensely focused on hiring the most talented individuals, then developing and molding them with accelerated career pathing.
Who you are
Results-Oriented Experience: You have up to 2 years of experience in metrics driven sales, outreach, and/or customer service environments (with cross-selling or sales components).
Experience as an BDR is a plus, but not required.
Exceptional recent graduates with relevant internship or sales experience are also encouraged to apply.
A Confident Communicator: You are comfortable and confident making cold calls and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and Curious: You are constantly looking for ways to improve not only your own performance but also the overall sales strategy. You thrive on solving complex problems and finding new opportunities.
Ownership Mentality: You take accountability for your work, manage competing priorities, and treat your territory like your own business.
AI-Forward: You're comfortable using AI and modern sales tools to improve research, prospecting, messaging, and productivity.
