Background

Are you passionate about building customer relationships and driving business growth?


As an Account Manager – South Region, you will be responsible for developing business with identified end-customer accounts across the region. You will work closely with system integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, and other channel partners to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.


You will also support Axis’ Channel Partner Program by providing ongoing training, coaching, and education. In addition, you will help set targets, monitor performance, and support the development of a strong and effective channel network.


This position is based in Chennai, India.


Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with key channel partners to address identified customer accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with identified end-user and government accounts, including law enforcement agencies and state institutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong channel infrastructure comprising distributors, system integrators, value-added resellers, and other channel partners.
  • Train, coach, and educate channel partners on Axis products, solutions, and value propositions.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and follow up on partner marketing activities in collaboration with the regional marketing team.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve the annual and quarterly targets set for the region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize growth opportunities and deliver a strong customer experience.



Profile (Requirements for this job)

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5–8 years of experience in a similar sales or account management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partners.
  • Experience working with end customers, government accounts, system integrators, distributors, or value-added resellers is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market needs, with the ability to analyze and prioritize opportunities.
