Role brief

growthroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Call founders who show interest within minutes, learn what they need help with, and assess whether they qualify
  • Work unbooked leads through a five-day call and text sequence, then schedule a sales conversation
  • Send the closer a concise handoff covering the founder, delegation needs, and key context
  • Keep lead stages and next steps current, then update your scorecard at day's end
  • Review closer feedback on poor-fit leads and refine your questions for future calls

What you bring

  • You have worked in an outbound role centered on phone conversations, such as SDR, BDR, inside sales, or appointment setting
  • You can contact leads within five minutes during founder-local hours from eight in the morning to eight at night, six or seven days a week
  • You record calls and texts in the CRM as you go and are comfortable with daily visibility into your results
  • You take direct coaching well and already use AI to prepare calls, improve texts, or tidy notes

Who this fits

This junior, phone-first role suits you if you prefer live conversations with founders and can stay focused through repeated outreach. It is remote in Costa Rica and requires availability for Pacific Time hours, as well as coverage across six or seven days each week.

From the employer

When a founder books a call with Assistant Launch or raises a hand, you are the person who calls them within minutes. You find out what they need off their plate, confirm they are a fit, and make sure they show up ready for the conversation with our closer.

The job comes down to three things: speed, show rate, and clean data. You are measured on them every day, so you always know where you stand.

This seat matters more than its title suggests. Founders decide what kind of company we are in the first five minutes, and you are those five minutes. You are also the first to see whether a founder is someone we should be working with at all. This is a remote role, reporting to our COO.

What you'll do:

This is a phone-first role. Most of your day is spent on live calls with busy founders, plus iMessage and email follow-up. If you like real conversations more than sitting behind a screen, you’ll love it.

  • Turn interest into booked meetings. Founders who filled out our form but didn’t book a call are your pipeline. You’ll work them through a 5-day call and text cadence, qualify them live, and book the sales call before you hang up.
  • Set the closer up to win. After every qualifying call, write a quick handoff: who the founder is, what they want to delegate, and the one thing the closer has to know going in.
  • Pass along only leads that are a real fit. A qualified lead is a business owner doing $500K+ in revenue, with confirmed budget and a real pain point an Executive Assistant can solve. You protect the closer’s calendar.
  • Keep a clean pipeline. Every lead sits in the right stage with a clear next step, and you update your scorecard at the end of each day.
  • Get sharper every week. When a lead you qualified turns out not to be a fit, read the closer’s notes and adjust your questions on the next calls. Feedback is how you grow here.

Requirements

  • You’re energized by the phone. You’ve spent time in an outbound, phone-heavy role (SDR, BDR, inside sales, appointment setting) and you stay sharp from your first dial to your fortieth, even when most founders don’t pick up the first time.
  • You move fast and work in the hours founders keep. You can reach every lead within 5 minutes, 8 am to 8 pm in the founder’s time zone, six to seven days a week. Speed is how you win.
  • You live by your numbers and keep the CRM clean. You’re comfortable having your metrics visible every day (speed, show rate, calls set), and you log every call and text before you dial the next one.
  • You want hard coaching and you use AI every day. You welcome direct feedback, come back better the next day, and already use AI to prep calls, write sharper texts, and clean up notes.
  • Available to work Pacific Time (PT) hours.

Benefits

  • Fully remote.
  • Weekly pay, at and above industry standard.
  • Paid vacation and holidays.
  • Clear paths to advancement, international exposure, work directly with business owners/founders.
