About Airwallex
Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full.
How you'll make impact
Lead revenue enablement across the Americas, setting the strategy, building and leading the team that delivers it, and accelerating seller ramp, field execution, and adoption of new products.
You'll work at the intersection of go-to-market, Product, and Commercial, partnering with senior leaders across SME & Growth, Mid-Market, and Startups to focus enablement where it can move revenue most.
You'll shape onboarding, coaching, go-to-market readiness, content, AI tools, systems, and the commercial operating rhythm, using funnel and sales data to show impact through measures such as ramp time, attainment, and win rate.
You'll work from our San Francisco or New York City office three days a week.
What we're looking for
Essentials
10+ years of experience in Revenue Enablement, Sales, Revenue Operations, or a related commercial field, ideally in financial services or fintech.
5+ years of people leadership, with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high performers and building a team's capability, not just running its programs.
A record of owning enablement strategy, including the plan and budget behind it, and delivering quantifiable results such as faster ramp, higher productivity, or stronger win rates.
Experience designing and scaling sales training, onboarding, and coaching programs for commercial teams, and developing frontline sellers and managers through structured feedback, call coaching, and performance improvement.
Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with the credibility to influence senior leaders across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance without direct authority.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using funnel and sales data to find gaps, set priorities, and show the business impact of enablement.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM and the modern sales technology stack, such as Gong, Outreach, Highspot, LMS platforms, and AI tools, with the judgment to decide which tools earn their place.
Preferred
Experience building or scaling an enablement function in a high-growth fintech or technology scale-up.
Experience enabling US SME & Growth, Mid-Market, Enterprise and/or Startups sales teams.
Experience leading go-to-market enablement for a major product launch or market entry.
Experience implementing and scaling AI-enabled sales workflows and enablement programs, with measured impact on rep productivity.
Experience measuring enablement against revenue outcomes and iterating on what the data shows.
You'll thrive here if
You own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.
You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway.
You come to the table with a point of view, not just a problem.
You enjoy working closely with people across multiple countries and time zones as part of one connected, global team, including flexing your hours occasionally to make that connection work.
You value in-person collaboration and are happy being in the office three days a week.
Learn more about your team
Most strategy roles hand you a slide deck. This one hands you the keys.
Strategy & Operations finds the next point of leverage in a hyper-growth fintech, then builds the system to capture it. We spot opportunities early, design how Airwallex scales into them, and turn that vision into the machinery that drives revenue across markets and products.
You'll get the kind of access most people wait a decade for: a direct line to the growth engine, work that spans every function, and the freedom to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems end to end.
And you won't do it the old way. We arm our people with AI to move faster than teams ten times our size, modeling, researching, and shipping at a pace that creates an unfair advantage.
If you want to do the best work of your career on problems that actually matter, build with us.
