What you'll do
- Create and edit videos for YouTube and Instagram formats, from the initial idea through to the finished clip
- Keep the social editorial schedule current and design post visuals, thumbnails and campaign assets
- Turn TV and social trends into timely content, then use performance results to improve future posts
- Coordinate with creators, TV channels and content partners, and help with website work in the CMS
What you bring
- You’re enrolled in higher education, preferably in media, communications, marketing or a related field
- You’ve gained social media or content experience through work such as an internship, student role or agency placement
- You can edit vertical video and create visuals using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or Canva
- You understand how YouTube, Instagram and TikTok formats work, and speak native-level German with good English
Who this fits
This student role suits someone who follows series, sports, shows and films and can turn ideas into social content independently. The team ideally needs support for sixteen to twenty hours each week. The role is based in Berlin, with remote work available for up to eight weeks per year.

DIE ROLLE
TV-Streaming ist die Zukunft des Fernsehens – und Zattoo entwickelt dieses Erlebnis ständig weiter. Für unser Marketing-Team suchen wir eine:n Werkstudent:in, die/der unsere Video- und Visual-KanWe’äle auf Social Media eigenverantwortlich vorantreibt.
Du begeisterst Dich für Serien, Sport, Shows und Filme und hast ein Gespür dafür, was auf Social Media funktioniert. Deine Ideen setzt Du selbst um, vom ersten Konzept bis zum fertigen Clip. Bei uns bekommst Du echte Verantwortung und viel Gestaltungsspielraum in einem jungen Tech-Unternehmen.
Idealerweise unterstützt Du uns 16–20 Stunden pro Woche.
DAS CONSUMER TEAM
Das Consumer Team ist ein funktionsübergreifendes Team. Ob Performance-Marketing, SEO, Content, CRM, Social Media, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Lizenzierung, Platzierung und Verkauf von Online-Werbeflächen oder Kundensupport – wir arbeiten mit Begeisterung daran, Zattoo als die beste Alternative zum traditionellen Fernsehen zu positionieren.
DAINE AUFGABEN
- Du konzipierst, produzierst und schneidest Video-Content für YouTube und Instagram (Shorts, Reels, Stories).
- Du planst und pflegst den Redaktionsplan für unsere Social-Media-Kanäle.
- Du gestaltest Visuals für Posts, Thumbnails und Kampagnen.
- Du behältst TV- und Social-Media-Trends im Blick und machst daraus schnell passende Formate.
- Du wertest die Performance unserer Inhalte aus (z. B. in YouTube Studio und Instagram Insights) und leitest daraus Verbesserungen ab.
- Du unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit mit Creator:innen sowie die Abstimmung mit TV-Sendern und Content-Partnern.
- Du unterstützt Website-Projekte in unserem CMS.
DEIN PROFIL
- Du bist an einer Hochschule eingeschrieben, idealerweise in Medien, Kommunikation, Marketing, Film, Design oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich.
- Du hast bereits Berufserfahrung im Bereich Social Media oder Content gesammelt, z. B. in einem Praktikum, einem Werkstudentenjob oder einer Agentur.
- Du schneidest sicher Videos im Hochformat (z. B. mit CapCut, Premiere Pro oder DaVinci Resolve) und gestaltest ansprechende Visuals (z. B. mit Canva oder Photoshop).
- Du kennst die Formate und Mechaniken von YouTube, Instagram und TikTok – nicht nur als Nutzer:in.
- Du arbeitest selbstständig und strukturiert und bringst proaktiv eigene Ideen ein.
- Du sprichst Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau und hast gute Englischkenntnisse.
- Erfahrung mit KI-Tools für Video, Bild oder Text ist ein Plus.
