About the Role
This is a senior content role within UOW’s Brand and Marketing Division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Creative Production, you will lead the planning, creation and quality assurance of written, editorial, video, audio and multimedia content that brings the University’s brand, campaigns and stories to life across channels. The role combines hands-on senior content production with coordination, mentoring and content quality assurance, helping set craft standards and support Content Producers working in UOW’s creative production studio.

- Lead the production of high-quality written, editorial, video, audio and multimedia content across digital, social, campaign and institutional channels.
- Set content craft standards and support Content Producers through guidance, mentoring, priority coordination and quality assurance.
- Provide senior hands-on content production for complex, high-profile or high-priority work.
- Contribute content capability to cross-functional squads, delivering work to brief, on brand and to agreed scope, quality and timeframes.
- Maintain accessible, consistent and well-governed content practice, including tone of voice, editorial standards, workflow, version control and asset management.
About the Team
The creative production pillar operates as the in-house studio of the Brand and Marketing Division, producing content and design for UOW’s squad-based delivery model.
The team works in a high-volume production environment with concurrent demands and peak periods aligned to the student recruitment cycle. The Lead Content Producer leads the content discipline within the studio, working closely with creative, brand and marketing colleagues to deliver strong, useful and on-brand content.
As part of the Division’s evolution, we are recruiting a number of roles across brand, marketing, communications and creative production. These roles are designed to work together, strengthening how we partner with faculties and portfolios, support strategic priorities, and deliver outcomes for the University.
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Substantial experience producing content across multiple formats, including copywriting, editorial, video, audio or multimedia, supported by a strong portfolio of high-quality work.
- Demonstrated experience leading content direction or coordinating content producers, including setting craft standards, providing guidance and undertaking quality assurance.
- Strong writing, editorial and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce and oversee clear, engaging and on-brand content across channels.
- Knowledge of content standards and governance, including accessibility, tone of voice, editorial consistency and asset management.
- Strong organisational, scheduling and stakeholder skills, with the ability to manage concurrent production demands and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
