Position Description

Reporting to the Director, Integrated Brand Marketing & eCommerce, the Social Media & Creator Marketing Manager will elevate RYOBI and RIDGID Canada's presence across social platforms, building the kind of engaged, brand-loyal audience that leading consumer brands are known for. This role owns the full organic social and creator marketing function, from platform strategy and content calendars through to creator partnerships, community management, and social analytics. Supported by a dedicated production resource, this role drives the creative vision and direction that fuels daily publishing across both brands.

The successful candidate owns social analytics and community management, bringing a proactive, insights-driven approach to every decision. They are as comfortable setting a detailed production brief for a planned campaign shoot as they are capturing a quick, trending clip independently when a moment calls for it. This role owns final approval on all content before it is published.

What You Will Do

  • Elevate RYOBI and RIDGID's organic social media presence, bringing strategic planning and structure to platform strategy, content calendars, and publishing cadence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Own the content strategy end to end, translating it into creative briefs and content calendars that keep production moving far enough ahead to sustain daily publishing across both brands. Briefs will range from highly detailed to minimal based on established production rhythm, and this role owns final approval on all content before it is published.
  • Build out a creator marketing program with the rigor of a leading consumer brand, moving from ad hoc outreach to proactive, relationship-driven creator partnerships that deliver consistent, on-brand content at scale.
  • Scout and build relationships with new creators who align with the brand's business strategy and connect with our audience, managing contracts, briefing, and partnership performance end to end.
  • Partner closely with Home Depot Canada to create standout collaborative content and creator partnerships tied to the retail relationship, ensuring brand presence within THD social channels and activations.
  • Bring a proactive, insight-led approach to community management across organic social channels, raising the standard for how RYOBI and RIDGID show up in comments, DMs, and public conversations.
  • Build out the social analytics and reporting framework, turning performance data into sharp recommendations for organic & paid social strategy, content investment, and platform prioritization.
  • Own the organic and creator marketing budget, partnering with the Director on overall planning and making every dollar count across creator fees, content production, and platform investment.
  • Step in front of the camera or behind the mic when the moment calls for it, capturing quick, platform-native content independently in a creator style when speed matters more than a full production setup.
  • Own the brand's social voice and tone, ensuring every caption, comment, and public reply is polished, on-brand, and reflective of where RYOBI and RIDGID want to be positioned in culture.
  • Collaborate regularly with TTI's US and global social and creator teams, sharing learnings and best practices in both directions.
  • Stay plugged into platform trends, culture, and emerging creator formats, bringing an outside-in perspective that keeps the brand relevant and ahead of the curve.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in social media management, creator marketing, or content strategy, ideally including experience in a high-volume, always-on publishing environment across multiple brands or accounts.
  • Comfort bringing strategic planning, structure, and measurement discipline to an organic social function, while holding the creative instincts to recognise a trending moment and move on it the same day.
  • Proven experience developing and executing organic social content strategies that grow engaged audiences across platforms, with a strong understanding of how content performs differently across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong track record sourcing, negotiating, and managing creator partnerships and contracts.
  • Comfortable and confident appearing on camera independently, capturing quick, platform-native content in a creator style without requiring a full production setup.
  • Strong storytelling and creative direction skills, with experience writing briefs and managing content calendars that keep a creative team moving.
  • Experience managing budgets and partner or vendor contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate social performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating across regions or markets, sharing ideas and best practices in both directions.
  • PR experience is a plus, given this role's outward-facing voice across public captions, comments, and replies representing the brand publicly.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Tools, and a scheduling or social listening platform.
  • Ability to work in person at TTI Headquarters in Toronto.
  • A portfolio or content reel showcasing relevant social, creator, or on-camera work is required as part of the application.
