Manage and grow a portfolio of existing agency relationships within the small and middle-market segments by cultivating client partnerships, retaining business, and expanding premium finance loan volume. Serve as a trusted advisor by educating agency clients on products, systems, and processes while delivering exceptional service and support. Monitor competitive activity and market trends within the assigned territory to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal business partners to support client needs and operational objectives. Represent the organization at industry events and actively promote Premium Finance solutions to strengthen brand awareness and drive new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Develop and maintain profitable business by making sales calls on insurance agents/brokers, insurance companies and general agencies that meet PF standards.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients in order to maintain or expand loan volume by identifying problems and providing solutions.
3. Manage assigned territory independently.
4. Monitor local insurance trends and make strategic recommendations to management, as needed.
5. Monitor local, competitive environments and make strategic recommendations to management, as needed.
6. Analyze monthly reports to identify opportunities to increase sales and minimize lost volume.
7. Ensure revenue goals are met by analyzing profitability for each relationship and recommending changes, as needed.
8. Communicate with marketing staff and operational staff to maximize opportunities.
9. Utilize Salesforce.com to record sales activity, meaningful information about sales calls and create follow-up activities.
10. Develop pricing proposals, as needed, and submit to management for approval.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Five years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in financial services or insurance
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong organizational and time management skills
5. Self-motivated, independent worker
6. Ability to interpret financial data
7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Richmond, VA Pay Range Disclosure:

The annual base salary for this position is $74,660.00 - $134,380.00.
