About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and multilingual Project Manager to support our Publishing efforts across APAC. This role acts as the operational backbone for our regional initiatives - coordinating cross-functional workflows and ensuring momentum on key publishing projects.
You will work closely with teams across Productions, Marketing, Operations and external partners to drive clarity, alignment, and execution. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on games publishing experience who thrives in structured problem-solving and cross-cultural collaboration.
This role will function as a chief-of-staff-style PM, enabling the team to operate at-scale and grow the publishing function in two of our most important regions.
Responsibilities
• Drive day-to-day execution across regional publishing initiatives, including marketing campaigns, creative localisation, community activations and partner relations.
• Serve as a PM across internal and external stakeholders, drive deliverables, aligning timelines, managing blockers and ensuring smooth handoff between teams to meet deadlines.
• Act as a single point of coordination for SEA and Japan publishing matters - facilitate weekly syncs, maintain milestone trackers, triage requests and drive follow-up action across departments.
• Maintain regional publishing calendars, project tracker and documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
• Coordinate regional insights and status updates into structured weekly or milestone reports for leadership review.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose improvements to increase team efficiency
• Support ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed (research, admin, presentation prep etc.)
Qualifications (must haves)
• Professional fluency in English, Japanese and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in free-to-play live-service game publishing.
• Strong project management skills and able to juggle multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• High ownership and accountability, proactive with problem-solving with strong follow-through.
Nice to have
• A true gamer who is passionate about video games and has a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
• Experience working with Japanese or SEA player communities, creators or marketing channels with a strong regional network.
• Comfortable with project management and data tools (Slack, Notion, Figma etc.).
• Experience with indie game publishing.
