What you will do:

As the Senior Analyst, Market Insights within Stryker Medical, you will support strategic decision-making by developing and delivering quantitative market insights across Medical’s businesses. You will focus on market sizing and forecasting, competitive intelligence, segmentation, and evaluation of market trends and opportunities. Additionally, you will partner closely with business unit Marketing, Finance, Commercial Analytics, Strategy, Business Development, and other cross-functional stakeholders to leverage internal and external data, secondary research, and primary market research to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.


This is a hybrid role and as such hybrid is defined as the ability to go into the office at least 3 days per week. You must sit within 60 miles of our office in Portage, MI; Redmond, WA or Cary, Il to be considered a hybrid employee.


  • Lead market sizing, modeling, and forecasting across product categories and geographies, including development and maintenance of Stryker Medical's Market Fact Base.
  • Analyze market, competitor, customer, and industry data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and implications for the business.
  • Develop and maintain competitive landscapes and market share estimates, using multiple internal and external data sources to build a well-supported view of the market.
  • Conduct secondary market research using industry reports, company filings, public data sources, internal information, and other sources to answer complex business questions.
  • Build quantitative models and analytical approaches to address gaps in available market data, clearly documenting assumptions, methodologies, and limitations.
  • Support market segmentation efforts and develop consistent definitions and frameworks that enable comparison across products, competitors, businesses, and geographies.
  • Design and manage external market research engagements, including development of research objectives and RFPs, vendor evaluation and selection, project management, and synthesis of findings.
  • Partner with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to translate market insights into implications for strategic planning, portfolio decisions, growth initiatives, and other business priorities.
  • Develop executive-ready analyses and presentations that communicate complex market information clearly and concisely to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Establish scalable processes, tools, and best practices that improve the consistency, quality, and accessibility of market insights across Stryker Medical.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with minimal supervision.

  • 2+ years of professional work experience is needed for this role.
  • 2+ YOE Microsoft Excel, including experience analyzing and modeling complex datasets is a requirement of this role.

Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA is preferred.
  • Prior experience in market research, market insights, strategy, finance, analytics, consulting, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with market sizing, forecasting, competitive intelligence, segmentation, or financial modeling is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI is preferred.

  • US5: $73,000 - $116,400 USD Annual
  • US10: $76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual
  • US15: $79,900 - $127,500 USD Annual
  • US20: $83,400 - $133,100 USD Annual
  • US30: $90,400 - $144,200 USD Annual
