At Singtel, we are building an AI-first workforce and strengthening our position within Singapore's AI ecosystem. As an Employer Branding, AI Community & Talent Engagement Intern, you will play a key role in shaping how Singtel engages AI talent, technology communities, universities, startups, and industry partners.

You will support both Singtel's employer branding efforts and the AI Community of Practice (AI COP), helping to create compelling content, organise AI-focused events, engage emerging talent, and showcase Singtel's AI innovation journey.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across employer branding, community building, AI ecosystem engagement and talent attraction initiatives.

Make an impact by:

1. Employer Branding & Content Creation

  • Create engaging content across LinkedIn, career platforms, and internal communication channels.
  • Develop content that showcases Singtel's AI innovation, talent stories, workplace culture, and technology initiatives.
  • Support video production, social media campaigns, employee storytelling, and event coverage.
  • Manage content calendars and monitor content performance across channels.
  • Support the Talent Attraction Lead in developing new employer branding and talent engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and insights on talent market trends and employer branding performance.

2. AI Community & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Support the growth of the Singtel AI Community by coordinating community initiatives, workshops, hackathons, and networking events.
  • Assist in engaging external AI communities, startups, universities, technology partners, and industry associations.
  • Support event logistics, attendee engagement, post-event communications, and community reporting.
  • Research emerging AI trends, communities, and ecosystem opportunities that can strengthen Singtel's employer brand and talent pipeline.

3. AI Talent Attraction & IHL Engagement

  • Support AI talent attraction programmes, including hackathons, student competitions, career fairs, and internship initiatives.
  • Coordinate outreach efforts with universities, student communities, and ecosystem partners.
  • Support candidate experience initiatives and talent engagement campaigns.

Skills for success:

  • Strong interest in employer branding, talent attraction, marketing, communications, or HR.
  • Strong understanding of social media management, trends, and emerging platforms.
  • Passion for AI, technology, innovation, and community building.
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders including students, professionals, technology communities, and business leaders.
  • Self-starter with strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Candidates are required to submit a portfolio showcasing past content work (e.g., social media posts, videos, or other creative assets).
