We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Director to lead our Brand Marketing and Channel Marketing functions across the US.
This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple beauty brands, strengthening brand awareness and consumer engagement, and leading channel marketing initiatives including field marketing team operations. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both brand marketing and retail/channel marketing within the beauty industry and a proven track record of managing cross-functional marketing teams.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Irvine, California.
1. Brand Marketing & Strategy
Lead overall brand marketing strategy and execution across multiple beauty brands
Develop annual marketing plans aligned with brand positioning, sales objectives, and growth priorities
Lead new brand and product launch strategies across the US market
Develop integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, PR, experiential, and offline channels
Ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all consumer touchpoints
Partner with global and brand headquarters to localize marketing strategies for the US market
2. Channel Marketing & Retail Activation
Lead channel marketing strategies for major US national retail accounts
Develop retailer-specific marketing programs, product launches, and promotional campaigns
Plan and execute in-store activations, events, sampling, pop-ups, and other consumer engagement programs
Manage and optimize retail marketing calendars and channel-specific marketing investments
Partner closely with B2B Sales teams to support retailer growth and sell-through
Build strong working relationships with retailer marketing and merchandising teams
3. Field Marketing Team Management
Lead and manage the field marketing organization and strategy
Develop field activation programs to increase brand awareness, consumer engagement, and retail sell-through
Establish field team KPIs, operating guidelines, training programs, and performance management processes
Coordinate field activities across key retail markets and store locations
Monitor field execution and evaluate program effectiveness and ROI
4. Marketing Performance & Cross-Functional Leadership
Manage annual marketing budgets and allocate resources across brands and channels
Track marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI
Analyze consumer, retailer, and market insights to optimize marketing strategies
Partner closely with Sales, Brand, Creative, E-commerce, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
Lead, coach, and develop Brand Marketing and Channel Marketing team members
Present marketing strategies, performance, and key initiatives to senior leadership
MUST Fluent in Korean/English
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
8–10+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the beauty industry
Strong experience in both Brand Marketing and Channel/Retail Marketing
Experience leading and managing Field Marketing teams or retail activation programs
Experience working with major US beauty and national retailers (e.g., Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Target, Walmart, Costco, etc.) strongly preferred
Experience managing multiple brands and integrated marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of the US beauty consumer and retail landscape
Proven experience managing marketing budgets and measuring marketing ROI
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
Experience in Beauty, Skincare, Personal Care, or CPG strongly preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial environment
Ability to work full-time on-site at our Irvine, California office
