From the employer

As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will be the owner of top-of-funnel growth. You will run and scale paid acquisition across Meta, Google, LinkedIn and new channels, and you will be accountable for the number of new brand signups every month. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a marketer who thinks in unit economics, loves to test, and is excited about using AI to move faster.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, improve, and scale established paid acquisition programs across Meta and Google, and expand into LinkedIn and other paid channels
  • Own the monthly brand signup number, broken down by channel, and look for ways to grow it across the full top of the funnel
  • Test, evaluate, and roll out new paid acquisition channels
  • Define campaign structure, bidding strategy, keywords, and audience strategy, including retargeting, lookalikes, custom audiences, and exclusions
  • Source and test a high volume of ad copy and creative across all paid channels
  • Build new landing pages for your programs and run tests on design, layout, positioning, and calls to action to maximize conversion
  • Run conversion experiments on the home page and other key entry points
  • Maintain attribution and reporting that ties spend to signups, revenue, and CAC payback, and find new levers when a channel reaches its spending limit
  • Turn top-performing ad and landing page insights into positioning recommendations for the website and Product Marketing
  • Manage agencies and freelancers where they help you move faster

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation at a startup, with a focus on paid acquisition
  • Proven track record scaling a paid acquisition program on Meta and Google

  • Experience testing new paid channels and deciding when to scale or stop them
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, including CAC, CAC payback, and LTV
  • Hands-on experience with campaign setup, bidding, audience strategy, and platform performance tracking
  • Experience running conversion rate optimization experiments and improving landing pages over time
  • Comfortable working as a hands-on individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in AI and in using AI tools to improve marketing work
  • Able to work from the Vancouver office 3 days a week

  • Experience with data visualization and marketing analytics tools
  • Experience managing agencies or freelancers
