From the employer
We’re creating the UK’s next-generation engineering powerhouse, delivering critical technology that strengthens national security and resilience.
We turn advances in sensing, AI and communications into operational capability at the edge, where connectivity may be limited or unavailable. Our work accelerates technology deployment, improves frontline decision-making, and protects people and critical assets in demanding environments.
Based in Bristol, Rowden currently employs around 200 people and operates more than 20,000 square feet of engineering and manufacturing facilities. With a growing international presence, we are one of Europe’s fastest-growing engineering businesses.
The role
Rowden is entering an exciting phase of growth, launching several new products and extending its footprint across multiple sectors in global markets. We’re looking for a proven Product Marketer to define how these capabilities are positioned, understood, and adopted.
This is a technical, strategic, and highly collaborative role within the Marketing team, working closely with Product, Sales, and Engineering. You’ll help turn complex technical systems into clear, compelling value stories that drive growth across defence, CNI, and emergency services, directly shaping how these products reach the market.
This role is UK-based, with hybrid working. Regular travel to Bristol is required.
Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance.
More information about security clearance is available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels You’ll be the link between engineering excellence and market impact, ensuring Rowden’s products are communicated with clarity, technical depth, and purpose.
Working across Product, Sales, and Engineering, you’ll help shape how our products are represented in the market: developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market material that sharpen how we compete and win.
You are a technical, analytical thinker who is comfortable at the intersection of sales, strategy, engineering, and product. You ask the right questions, care about the end user, and thrive in ambiguity and pace, delivering effective work as priorities change.
