Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Track the full acquisition funnel to find growth sources, slowdowns, and opportunities
  • Extend the reach of launches through external marketing and focused distribution
  • Increase upgrades with lifecycle, drip, and in-product campaigns
  • Use SEO and AI-search recommendations to improve landing pages
  • Assess sponsorships, advertising, and events, then shift spend toward effective channels

What you bring

  • Experience marketing to developers and understanding how they make decisions
  • Previous ownership of free-to-paid conversion, lifecycle marketing, or activation
  • Strong analytical judgment with fluency in funnels, cohorts, and measurement
  • Clear writing and fast execution of early-stage experiments
  • Ability to build attribution and testing systems, manage lean budgets, and make website updates independently

Who this fits

You'll suit a hands-on growth role focused on developer audiences, funnel analysis, conversion, and rapid testing. The job is fully remote within UTC-3 through UTC-8, with some travel for offsites, conferences, meetups, and similar events. You'll work autonomously on a small marketing team with flexible hours.

From the employer

Resend is growing fast, and there are now over 3 million developers using it.

We're a small marketing team focused on content, social, events, and community. Now, we're looking for our first Growth Marketer to bring visibility to our funnel: measuring what's working, fixing what isn't, and creating experiments.

This role is fully remote based in UTC-3 to UTC-8 time zones, with some expected travel for team offsites, conferences, meetups, and more.

In this role, you will…

  • Own the acquisition funnel end-to-end: understand where sign-ups come from, which channels are accelerating or stalling, and why

  • Amplify externally what we build internally: turn launches into extended reach without just throwing money at the problem

  • Optimize free-to-paid conversion: find the features that drive upgrades, and build the campaigns (drip, in-product, lifecycle) that surface them at the right moment

  • Improve our landing pages with real data: get into the weeds of traditional SEO and AI recommendations (AEO/GEO)

  • Evaluate paid spend: see how sponsorships, ads, and events affect our distribution. Double down on what works, and consider dropping what doesn't

You will be a great fit if you...

  • Understand how developers think and how to market to them

  • Have owned free-to-paid conversion or lifecycle/activation before

  • Are genuinely analytical and comfortable with data, fluent in funnels and cohorts

  • Write clearly and ship fast: a v0 experiment this week beats a perfect plan next month

  • Think critically about a data point, and go deep into how that's measured

You will be an exceptional fit if you also...

  • Can set up attribution and experimentation infrastructure yourself, not just brief someone else to

  • Can run lean and make a small budget go far

  • Understand that not every investment needs to have a short term effect

  • Have a technical background to make website changes on our own

What it means to join the team:

  • Autonomy to "just ship it"

  • AI-native mentality with unlimited token policy

  • Attention to detail with everything that we do

  • 100% remote team with flexible working schedules

  • Modern data stack (Snowflake, PostHog, Baremetrics, Metabase)

  • Honest and low-ego team

  • Ownership of problems and solutions

  • Comp: $140,000 - $180,000 USD, commensurate with experience
