Network Security Engineer | Dubai, UAE
Experience: 3-7 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access solutions.
- Configure and support Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco security platforms.
- Perform firewall policy management, upgrades, migrations, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Support Azure/AWS networking and security, including VNet/VPC, VPNs, Security Groups, IAM, and cloud firewalls.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze threats, and work with SOC teams on remediation.
- Support EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and security hardening initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, Panorama, or similar management tools.
- Knowledge of CrowdStrike, Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence solutions.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, incident response, and cloud security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3-7 years of network/security engineering experience.
- Certifications such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, CCNA/CCNP Security, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, Security+, or CySA+ preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
