Role Description
You’ll serve as the main point of contact for several of our partner brands across the consumer-packaged goods, beauty, and vitamins and supplements categories. You’ll dig deep into their Amazon businesses and help drive tangible revenue growth. You’ll live at the forefront of using data to answer partners’ business questions and sometimes build your own models. This role is for someone who excels at digesting and sharing sales data, thrives on building long-lasting relationships within companies and wants to make an impact to the bottom line every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Recom relationship with a portfolio of partner brands, acting as the main liaison between each partner and the internal Recom functions of Catalog Management, Operations, Brand Protection, Creative and Advertising
- Dig into each partner’s Amazon sales on an ongoing basis – sales pace, inventory, upcoming advertising strategy and use of Amazon best practices
- Answer partners’ business questions through data, using a variety of data sources including Amazon reports, a business intelligence tool and Excel; clearly communicate those findings to internal leadership team and the partners
- Prepare for and lead a mix of weekly and monthly partner meetings
- Build and maintain strong partner relationships, including at the executive level of brands
- Onboard new partners and guide them through the initial set-up – from gathering the initial product catalog, placing the first PO, monitoring the products sent into Amazon and forecasting future inventory trends
- Collaborate across internal Recom departments to project-manage a partner’s needs; this could include working with the Purchasing team on a new PO, the executive team on margin analysis or the Creative team on updates to a partner’s product listing pages
- Understand, develop and implement strategic methods for growing partner accounts on Amazon
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of relevant experience in account management, eCommerce management, or other relationship leadership roles.
- Demonstrated working knowledge/experience in Amazon as a Seller
- Experience managing multiple external client or vendor relationships while driving strategy
- Proven ability to analyze and communicate data to senior leaders
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as DOMO, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Able to multitask, operating efficiently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment while also working towards clarity and solutions
