Building effective internal and external relationships:
• Develop strong working relationships with Global Brand Teams to successfully localise and implement global brand strategies within the UK market.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Commercial, E-commerce, Finance, Consumer Engagement, Demand Planning and Retail to drive business performance, operational excellence and brand growth in the UK.
• Support the Marketing Manager in communicating the brand vision and collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver best-in-class marketing plans and strategic initiatives.
Deliver the local market plan:
• Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the brand.
• Build, maintain and execute 360 marketing plans, ensuring delivery against the annual activation calendar and regular communication of priorities to cross-functional teams.
• Lead the local implementation of new product launches, ensuring excellence in execution and alignment with global brand strategy.
• Develop a strong understanding of brand performance, sales, objectives, KPIs and all marketing activities, including in-store events, sampling programmes and promotional initiatives.
• Develop and deliver retailer presentations, partnering with the Marketing Manager on key strategic retailer meetings.
Business performance and budget tracking:
• Accurately track marketing spend in line with budget.
• Work closely with the Demand Planning and Commercial teams to ensure new launch forecast accuracy and stock availability for promotional and regular items.
• Evaluate sales performance at both sell-in and sell-out level for new initiatives and the core business, working with the relevant departments to develop action plans.
• Analyse brand, category and competitive performance using internal reporting tools, retailer data and Circana insights, identifying trends, opportunities and risks to inform strategic recommendations and marketing action plans.
• Identify growth opportunities through market, consumer and retailer insights and present recommendations to senior stakeholders to support business objectives.
Foster cross-functional relationships, to maximise brand results in the market:
• Partner closely with Commercial, Retail and Visual Merchandising teams to develop and deliver tailored marketing and in-store activation plans aligned to retailer objectives and brand priorities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to brief, implement and evaluate effective in-store activations and initiatives that support the overall brand strategy.
• Work closely with the Consumer Engagement team to ensure an integrated consumer and retailer marketing plan across all channels.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor execution, evaluate competitor activity, track new launches and ensure compliance with merchandising and brand guidelines.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations from field visits to optimise future activations and commercial performance.
