JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking highly motivated individuals to assist with all aspects of our online order shipping department in part-time positions. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Pulling ice cream from freezers
- Pulling cold products from coolers
- Handling dry ice
- Packing orders to be shipped
- Unloading, stocking, and preparing shipment supplies
- Maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without accommodation
If interested, candidates may operate a university vehicle, provided they have a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle records check, in addition to standard background checks.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- We offer flexible scheduling based on class and/or activity schedules
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
