This suits a senior, hands-on product marketer who can work as an individual contributor while preparing to build and lead a team. From the employer

ProcessUnity is the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) company. Our software platforms and data services protect customers from cybersecurity threats, breaches, and outages that originate from their ever-growing ecosystem of business partners. By combining the world’s largest third-party risk data exchange, the leading TPRM workflow platform, and powerful artificial intelligence, ProcessUnity extends third-party risk, procurement, and cybersecurity teams so they can cover their entire vendor portfolio. With ProcessUnity, organizations of all sizes reduce assessment work while improving quality, securing intellectual property and customer data so business operations continue to operate uninterrupted.

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Product Marketing to own how we position and message our solutions to the market. In this role, you will turn complex risk and cybersecurity concepts into clear, compelling stories that win deals and build our brand. This is primarily an individual contributor role today, with the opportunity to build and lead a product marketing team as the function grows. The Director of Product Marketing reports to the Senior Vice President of Marketing.

What You'll Do:

  • Define product positioning and messaging across our portfolio and for each buyer persona, including CISOs, TPRM program leaders, GRC and compliance executives, and procurement
  • Partner with Product Management to plan and execute go-to-market launches for new products, features, and AI capabilities
  • Build a sales enablement program that gives our sellers and business development representatives the knowledge, talk tracks, and tools to lead with value
  • Create and maintain sales tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, solution briefs, datasheets, and demo narratives
  • Conduct ongoing market, customer and competitive analysis, and turn insights into recommendations for product and marketing strategy
  • Support analyst relations by preparing briefings, inquiries, and submissions for firms such as Gartner and Forrester
  • Develop thought leadership content, including whitepapers, guides, blogs, and webinars, in partnership with Demand Generation
  • Work with Customer Marketing to capture customer proof points, case studies, and voice-of-customer insights
  • Represent ProcessUnity at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, content creation, and enablement, and build AI-assisted workflows that let a lean team deliver at scale
  • Grow the function over time by hiring and mentoring product marketing team members as the business scales

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B software, with a track record of successful product launches
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and compelling
  • Proven ability to build sales enablement programs that sellers actually use
  • Strong market and competitive research skills, with a data-driven approach to positioning decisions
  • Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot) and a track record of using them to work faster without sacrificing quality. Experience positioning AI-powered products preferred
  • Ability to thrive as a hands-on individual contributor while building toward leading a team
  • Strong presentation skills and the confidence to represent ProcessUnity with customers and at industry events
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events
  • Experience working with industry analysts preferred
  • Experience in Third-Party Risk Management, cybersecurity, GRC or risk management strongly preferred
