We are looking for a dynamic individual contributor to drive key initiatives and elevate our Product Marketing function and play a critical role in shaping our positioning and GTM strategy. In this Senior Product Marketing Manager role, you will build our market presence, with a keen point of view, and a dedicated AR strategy in a dynamic and popular market. You will be responsible for contributing and executing product marketing strategy while working in lockstep with Product Management, Technical Marketing, Growth Marketing, and report directly to the CTO.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to and execute Product Marketing, shaping and mastering every message. Deliver crisp and differentiated positioning and messaging that continues to evolve alongside our platform and market position. Use industry shifts to our advantage, and position Picus as a thought leader.
- Partner closely with Product Management, bringing strong technical understanding and knowhow so you can contribute to customer conversations, product roadmap strategy and align PM on our AR and marketing initiatives.
- Be an authority on the market. Stay up to date on market trends, competitive intelligence, and the cybersecurity landscape to identify areas for growth and keep the team on the bleeding edge of our competitive market.
- Partner with Sales as a trusted advisor. Closely work with sales and technical teams to refine our value proposition. Ensure the delivery of high quality assets, training and partner content. Deliver sales enablement, sales plays and objection handling tool sets that motivate and arm our team to win.
- Contribute our Analyst Relations program and strategy. Work closely with product management and our CTO/Co-founder to deliver a vision that is recognized by key analysts and earns inclusion in upcoming publications.
- Drive focus and understanding company-wide of our ICP and core differentiators. Contribute our customer data and define our ICPs and personas. Empower Growth, SDR and Sales teams so they can target and operate cohesively.
- Own execution of Product Launch Strategy. Proactively plan and time our product launch roadmap to deliver timely and informed product announcements that keep Picus at the forefront of our market. Lead cross-functionally ensuring alignment and go-to-market success.
What You Have
- 3+ years of experience in B2B cybersecurity software product marketing
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, and specific expertise in some of these categories: automated pentesting, BAS, EDR/XDR, SIEM, RVBM, Vulnerability Management
- Drive to be hands on and competitive in a high-stakes environment and competitive landscape.
- Progressive growth over the course of your career and proven success in managing key initiatives.
- Demonstrated collaboration and alignment with product management to create messaging that resonates in the market
- Experience working with sales leadership and technical teams to translate key differentiators into sales enablement outputs
- Communication and presentation mastery that is easy to consume, and engages customers, prospects and sales teams. You can motivate sales teams and customer success with the latest launch enablement presentation with ease and gladly serve as the evangelist for our products
- Very strong presenting and storytelling skills, specifically the ability to distill complex product capabilities into a simple and compelling narrative that delivers on our unique value. Delivering comprehensive long form content
- Proactive and inquisitive nature, with problem solving skills that can lead teams through cybersecurity start-up challenges.
- History of technical or customer facing roles (ie. support, incident response or systems engineering) are very desirable.
