Our client is a fast-growing DTC e-commerce brand focused on protective gear for action sports, including mountain biking, motocross, and snow sports.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an Ecommerce Data Analyst who can become the CEO's single source of truth for the daily financial health and performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Own and maintain a daily contribution margin dashboard, incorporating net sales, ad spend, landed COGS, 3PL shipping costs, and creative/media partner fees.
    • Analyze break-even ROAS by product and expense structure, including percentage-of-spend versus flat-fee arrangements.
    • Analyze creative, offer, and A/B tests and translate results into profit-focused recommendations.
    • Evaluate channel attribution and incrementality across Meta Ads, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify, and Triple Whale.
    • Identify whether channels and campaigns are generating incremental profit, beyond platform-reported ROAS.
    • Provide daily and weekly performance reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
    • Translate complex financial and marketing data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Work cross-functionally with the CFO, VP of Operations, and CMO to provide the data required for their decision-making.
    • Maintain and continuously improve the company's AI-assisted daily performance dashboard.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to increase contribution margin, reduce wasted spend, and improve profitability.

Requirements

    • Proven experience in financial/business analysis and reporting for an 8-figure+ DTC or e-commerce business.
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of Shopify and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
    • Experience analyzing performance across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Klaviyo.
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce attribution, media buying, ROAS, contribution margin, CAC, and profitability.
    • Experience with Triple Whale or a comparable e-commerce attribution/analytics platform.
    • Strong data analysis and dashboard-building skills, including the ability to leverage AI tools to build, maintain, and improve data systems.
    • Ability to work with data from multiple platforms and reconcile discrepancies between sources.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to clearly explain numbers, methodology, assumptions, and data sources to leadership.
    • Highly self-directed and proactive, with a strong focus on finding opportunities to improve business profitability.

Nice to Have

    • Experience bridging finance, marketing, and growth analytics.
    • Previous experience in a DTC e-commerce business generating $20M–$50M+ annually.
    • Experience working directly with a CEO or executive leadership team.
    • Experience building financial/performance dashboards from scratch using AI-assisted development or automation tools.
