From the employer

Account Manager

Location: Manchester City Centre | Full-time | Office-based
Salary: Up to £29,000 basic + bonus

Help our restaurant partners grow. Build relationships. Make an impact.

Who we are

At OrderYOYO, we help independent restaurants and growing restaurant chains take control of their online success. We provide personalised branded apps, websites and marketing tools that help restaurants attract customers, increase orders and build their own brands — without relying on high third-party commission fees.

We're passionate about helping local restaurants thrive, and we're looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Account Manager to help make that happen.

The opportunity

We're building a brand-new team dedicated to supporting and growing relationships with our most valuable restaurant partners across the UK and Europe.

As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of restaurant partners, becoming their trusted point of contact and helping them get the very best from OrderYOYO. You'll combine relationship management with commercial thinking to identify growth opportunities, improve performance and ensure our partners continue to see real value in what we offer.

This isn't just about keeping customers happy. It's about helping their businesses grow, building long-term partnerships and making a measurable commercial impact.

With the team expanding across the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape a new function from the ground up.

What you'll be doing

  • Own your portfolio: Build strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of key restaurant partners, understanding their businesses, goals and challenges.

  • Drive account growth: Identify opportunities to increase gross merchandise value (GMV), helping partners generate more orders through their branded apps and websites.

  • Be commercially curious: Use account performance data and CRM insights to identify opportunities, spot trends and recommend practical ways to improve results.

  • Grow product adoption: Introduce partners to relevant products and features, including marketing packages, ePOS and self-service kiosks, where they can add genuine value.

  • Identify upsell opportunities: Have confident, consultative conversations that help partners understand how additional products and services can support their growth.

  • Protect retention: Recognise early warning signs, tackle challenges proactively and take ownership of actions that strengthen long-term relationships.

  • Stay close to your customers: Run regular account reviews, gather feedback and turn customer insights into meaningful actions.

  • Work as one team: Collaborate with Sales, Onboarding, Support and Product to deliver a consistent, joined-up partner experience.

What we're looking for

We're interested in people with ambition, energy and a genuine desire to succeed. Previous Account Management or Customer Success experience is beneficial, but it's not essential if you can demonstrate the right attitude and transferable skills.

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A natural relationship builder. You enjoy speaking to people, building trust and developing relationships over time.

  • Commercially minded. You're curious about what makes a business successful and enjoy spotting opportunities to improve results.

  • Confident on the phone. You're comfortable picking up the phone, asking the right questions and having proactive conversations with customers.

  • Motivated by results. You take ownership of your goals, enjoy a challenge and want to see the impact of your work.

  • Proactive and organised. You can manage competing priorities, follow through on commitments and keep your portfolio on track.

  • Comfortable with numbers. You can interpret information, identify opportunities and turn insights into practical recommendations.

  • A team player. You share ideas, support your colleagues and understand that the best results come from working together.

Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, recruitment or another customer-facing, target-driven environment could be a great foundation for this role.

How success is measured

You'll have clear goals and support to help you succeed, with performance measured across:

  • Growth in partner GMV and account performance.

  • Customer retention and account health.

  • Adoption of relevant products and services.

  • Upsell performance and commercial contribution.

  • Customer satisfaction and relationship quality.

What you'll get in return

  • A basic salary of up to £29,000, plus bonus.

  • Structured training and ongoing development to help you build your skills.

  • Personal development plans and genuine opportunities to progress.

  • The chance to help shape a new team and make your mark from day one.

  • Monthly Friday socials and regular team events.

  • Quarterly conferences and training days.

  • Employee awards recognising great work.

  • A holiday-buying scheme.

  • Wellness Wednesdays.

  • A supportive culture where personal expression, collaboration and development matter.
